Came without an appointment to update my social security card. I read so many bad reviews I was scared it would take 3 hours. I had already printed / filled the necessary form and came with the proper documents. It was very busy but from arriving to leaving it took exactly 45min 12:15PM to 1PM It looks like if you’re applying for something else it takes much longer I wouldn’t say I had the time of my life but Everybody was nice Come prepared and just be patient Bring a book or listen to a good podcast.
It’s first come first serve. Line begins at 8:30. Can’t enter the building to use the restroom until 7:30. Once inside, it’s smooth sailing. Patience is key.
They are so nice and polite. From I passed security check, entered and had a number, it took under 30 minutes to wait and to finish interview in total
This place makes the DMV look good. 17 windows and only 3 open. Rude employees. Waited 3 hours just to file for a new social security card for a name change. I consider myself a patient person. But this is beyond that. Not that this review matters since it’s only gotten worse since there are no appointments anymore. Good luck to anyone that needs to go there.
I was able to get service even though arrived at almost closing time. The security guard was so nice. He managed people to visit office without delay. The service was provided in order. And I am impressed office worker was kind as well.
Very awful waiting times. I waited for over a hour and when I finally got connected, they hung up. I called back again, spent another 30 minutes and when the line finally rang, it just rang and rang and no one picked up. They need to improve this process. Why can they not have a call back option? I dread calling government agencies, it seems like they have no customer services skills at all.
Security is a Toy cop with a gun I went in- off duty with my gun and badge. Sir demanded I remove it.
I was on hold for 42minutes. I couldn't wait any longer because I had to attend to other business!
took me two phone call to get though the person was helpful but still do not fix my problem. Filed for my retirement in Nov.2021 and I'm still waiting for my payment due to paper work. and my reply it first come that how it's works.
Never come here on Mondays. Expect waiting times to be over 1.5hrs.
