Do not go to Permanent Makeup by Shaina Clifford! Sola Salon is great but she is not! I love Sola Salon but recently had a very disappointing experience with Permanent Cosmetics by Shaina (I will describe it below). I called Sola Salon about the issue and am very pleased with how the landlord handled it. He was very understanding about my complaint and I feel better knowing that one person's mistakes do not represent the business as a whole. WARNING: Please think carefully before you go to Shaina for any permanent makeup. She did my eyeliner about a month ago and accidentally tattood my hand during the procedure! The anesthetic she used did not work and the procedure was extremely painful. It was way worse than when I had microblading done at a different studio! She did not show me whether she was using a clean needle or not. If you go to her make sure you ask to see the needle in its package! I do not trust her to do my touch up. I asked if I could have a refund so I could pay a different artist to do my makeup instead. She would only refund 100 out of 350 dollars. That is not nearly enough to pay for a good makeup artist and definitely not enough to pay for fixing the mistake she made on my hand! The whole time I was texting her about working out a solution she was extremely unprofessional. She tried to blame me for the anesthetic not working and for her mistake of tattooing my hand. She told me to "grow up" as if I am being immature by expecting her to run a professional business. Permanent makeup lasts a long time! I don't want anyone else to have the terrible experiences I did. Please be careful if you decide to go to her. There are other makeup artists in Rapid City, Shaina is not your only option for permanent makeup. If you want to have permanent makeup done well, I highly recommend Tasia in Rapid City. She has great customer service and did a great job on my eyebrows. I will definitely be going to her to fix the mistakes Shaina made.

If you hate the big salons, this is for you. Nice corner space, very cozy. Christine and her partner picked great location. Close to Main St. Square so plenty of parking. Professional service with a personal touch.

My experience was great, I went to Lavish Hair Studio's for some hair care and Shelby was very sweet and truly listened to me. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming and the diversity of business is amazing!
