We had a great experience here. The hostess seated us right away. Our waitress was terrific… friendly, helpful and attentive. The menu offers a variety of options to choose from. There’s pastas, poultry and seafood. A nice wine list and a full bar. Both of our meals were delicious and we had a really good dessert. There’s both restaurant seating and bar seating. It’s popular so I’d recommend making a reservation. It’s very easy to get to as it’s in walking distance from most places and there’s street parking.
Best high end Italian restaurant in Portland! It is expensive but the food is top quality, drinks are flavorful and creative, and the atmosphere is wonderful. This is a great spot for date nights or impressing out of town guests.
Solo is good. It’s not my favorite in Portland, but it is good Italian food. The service and atmosphere are great! You can usually get a reservation last minute, too. They have a great wine list. When it comes to the pasta, it’s not my favorite— we’ve noticed it’s lacked flavor and the portions are small. It is homemade and fresh, but always seems to be lacking something and certainly not worth the price. However, dessert always seems to pull through for Solo. Their Cannoli and Tiramisu are out of this world. I’d recommend coming to sit at the bar for apps, drinks and dessert.
This place was very nice and delicious! The atmosphere was nice and not too loud or cramped. The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious. We came as a bachelorette dinner and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated. The desserts were beautiful and the drinks were very tasty. Thank you to our waitress, Sarah!
The quality and taste of our dinner was definitely worth the price. Everything came out great - best angel hair pasta I've ever had! Atmosphere is nice and the service was good despite coming in a little later in the night.
This was our last night in Portland on our honeymoon, and we were impressed! Our waitress was fantastic, and the food was perfectly cooked. We got their homemade pasta and it did not disappoint. One of the best restaurants around Portland!
All around wonderful experience. Took my folks here for their anniversary and they did not disappoint. Menu changes daily, lots of local farm-to-table and fresh seafood options. My Dad’s halibut was a last minute addition to the menu, caught that morning. They also make their own pasta. Lasagne was wonderful. Halibut was cooked perfectly. Panna Cotta with blueberry sauce for dessert was sublime. Seated immediately with reservation, server was friendly and attentive. Expensive, but worth it. Great place for date night or special occasion. Highly recommend!
Service is nice and quality of food is good. I enjoyed the fresh scallop crudo but the beet salad was overly sour and almost inedible. The best dish was actually the prosciutto and focaccia appetizer. My friends enjoyed their scallop, ribeye, and ravioli. The desserts were passable—tiramisu was good heavy on the biscuit side and the cookie platter was forgettable
Excellent. Deserves a Michelin star. Highly recommend! The prosciutto and burrata melts in your mouth. The pesto pasta is a must get! Small portion but every bite is delicious!
Wow, happy belly, happy human. Absolutely loved my dining experience here with a few of my girlfriends. Everyone was SO friendly, service was outstanding and food was *chef’s kiss*. My new favorite restaurant! We had a few recommendations for wine and entrées, and they were spot on. The crudo was fresh and tasty, gonfietti con prosciutto - SPEECHLESS! Light, fluffy and full of flavor. I could eat this everyday. I think these photos can speak for themselves :
