Great watering hole! Small menu of food items. Music is great and staff is even better. Fun country atmosphere with a unique decor of furniture: all of which is different.
BACON!!! is there more needed to say? Great little place even if you're not into country music. Great happy hour. Lovely patio out front. Funky seats. Great staff. Loved it.
Fun timeds with friends... Awesome bsr staff Riley 2 months in and able to throw down drinks and still smile through the rush of people waiting to be served.... This is a safe place to party with friends and listen to good music .. Kudos to the Sunday Staff holding down this amazing night out....
So this place has a fun country bar theme. Chairs are all different themes. However, the service could have been a bit better. The bartender wasn’t educated on her beer, she took some time to even greet us, and when on the patio we were left to fend for ourselves for more drinks. Music was good, place was clean, but overall, 3 stars only from us.
Epic bar with a country theme serving up great drinks! Located on the iconic Wharf St, you can easily bar hop down one of my favorite streets in Portland. If you’re a country fan, this is your spot. They play all the latest country hits plus the classics. I love the vibe in here, especially the seating. You’ve got saddle stools never seen those before lol and a swinging booth. Service is great too.
Great dive bar! Free bacon during Happy Hour, just ask.
The service was fine. Overall, Bonfire is a sloppy attempt at a country bar. Sure, the chairs are funny, but serving expensive draft beer in red solo cups is tacky and wasteful. It’s a poor attempt at the ‘rustic’ aesthetic, and I’ve never been served out of a plastic cup at any dive bars that I’ve visited in the West or the South. We ended up leaving after 15 minutes because the music was extremely loud for a Monday evening and we couldn’t hold a conversation.
We have stopped in here many times when we visit the area, unfortunately I feel as if the service gets worse each time we go. We stopped in a few weeks ago, right after they opened and found the waitress to be anything but pleasant. We were the only people in there initially since it was right after they opened, yet our visit seemed to annoy her. I went to use the bathroom and found there was no toilet paper, made do and mentioned it to the guy working with her and he said he'd take care of it. Stopped in before we left and still no toilet paper. I think something like toilet paper should be available, especially upon opening. I miss the way it used to be years ago, the vibe is still good, but the employees could certainly be more engaging and friendly.
Will never go again!!! I walked in in there no problem. Showed the bouncer my ID and than I walk the a bar tender for a blue ribbon beer. Than all of. A sudden she gave a dirty look and called the bouncer to escort me out of the bar for no reason. Couldn't explain myself either.
Drinks are terrible. Bartenders are uneducated in their craft. Very limited seating, and staff holding tables for people who decide to get up to stand at the bar and not use them is an odd business decision. Dirty bar, dirty bathrooms. Staff is rude. Go somewhere else!
