This is one of my favorite reviews from one of our wound patients our clients don't always have a google account and this was shared with permission: Just a note of appreciation and thanks to a team called Solstice, consisting of Dr. Boyle, Amy, Connie and Christian. I worked 8-10 hours daily on a cement floor in a cafe environment for 17 years. For the last four years I have had leg issues. Sores I didn’t know what they were or how to treat them. So much pain. Finally after going to my family doctor she referred me to make an appointment at Sosltice Wound Care. When I came in on March 25, 2022, I didn’t know if I would lose my leg or what would happen. I had pain an a-lot of anxiety. My leg had oozing open wounds, purple red color, swollen, 2 other sores and my entire leg was not healthy. Many visits and all I can say is for the last 3 months with 2-3 visits a week is my journey, of getting my leg healthy and not as painful has been one of amazing kindness, professional caring, learning, and just unbelievably wonderful! I am so very grateful not only that my leg is healing but I have had time to make life changes so I won’t lose it. Connie and Christian have educated me on what has happened to it and how to prevent the wounds from coming back. They are all so kind and caring, answering my questions and making my day better. They give me the feeling that everything is going to be alright. Anyone I know who needs this kind of help I will refer to Solstice. Thank you so very much for the caring, concern, kindness and medically treating me. I will always be grateful to you all for helping me though this part of my journey and my life. You’re like family. Such a positive office environment! Thank you, God bless you all. Ann
Solstice has one of the best teams I’ve ever worked with. They have been great resources for helping families get quality care. Highly recommended.
I have worked 25 years in Nursing and my couple years at Solstice Hospice were some of my best. Amy and her amazing team work so hard to bring quality care with compassion and education to people who truly need it. They excel in the care they provide and stand out amongst the rest. Solstice gives their team the tools to provide top notch care. Our most vulnerable populations deserve the loving and professional care they do give to all their clients. The culture is unmatched. I still get a call here or there from a family member I worked with. Amy has continued to support me furthering my education and has been a mentor to me even after my employment, how many boss's do that?! Five Stars from me all day. *all permissions granted for photo
The solstice team is amazing! We Iive out of town and very was concerned about our loved one and his wife. With permission from them, Solstice kept us updated with everything. Shaun RN was so professional and kind. He was amazing as were everyone on the team. Would absolutely recommend.
Solstice provided hospice care for my grandma and I could not be more pleased with the care she received. She was in hospice for years and well taken care of the whole time. Everything was coordinated through them, they worked with Medicare and made everything so simple for us. The staff we worked with were professional, knowledgeable, and extremely kind. Having access to all the different services and providers Solstice offers was so convenient. We loved my grandma’s nurse and were in constant contact with her, she was available day or night. Sometimes the CNA’s would spend extra time and help my grandma with her makeup, which meant so much to her. At the very end of her life Solstice was there helping us every step and I can’t imagine going through it without them. I highly recommend Solstice Home Health, Hospice & Palliative Care.
Solstice provided my husband with Physical Therapy. Kirk was professional & knowledgeable, but more than that, he was positive, encouraging, listened, and problem solved. He is happy, congenial & physically fit. So you trust he practices what he preaches. Thank you Solstice for sending us Kirk. He’s magic.
Solstice Hospice was a beautiful gift at the end of my dad’s life. After being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, his greatest wish was to spend his last days at home. Solstice’s amazing team of caregivers made this possible, keeping him comfortable and calm until the very end. We are so grateful for the highest quality care they provided our family. If you have a loved one nearing the end of life, don’t hesitate to contact Solstice Hospice.
One of the hardest times in my life was losing my father to Kidney failure. We spend many hours in the hospital driving back and forth not eating or sleeping much for weeks. A friend referred me to Solstice and my world changed forever. We were able to take my father home and the care he, my mother and siblings received was amazing. They helped arrange transfer from the hospital, we had a medial bed and all the supplies needed for the best care delivered right to the house. The entire staff was on call 24/7. I had no idea this kind of care was even available. When my father in law broke his hip and was not recovering from the surgery you can bet the first call I made was to Solstice. They once again came in and saved the day. My father in law has since gotten better all thanks to them. I will forever be greatful for this team of caregivers.
I have now worked for Solstice a little over 4 years and everything I have learned, seen have been an absolute pleasure. I learned what exceptional care and service looks like. We are challenged everyday to step up our game a little bit more than it was the day before. I am so grateful for such tremendous leadership at Solstice, where they love to teach each and every clinician to uphold our values and exceed our standards. I wouldn't work at any other place. Solstice is the BEST!
My sister unfortunately was diagnosed with metastatic cancer after battling it for three years. Calling Solstice Hospice for an educational visit was our first move. The registered nurse Debbie that called on us to explain the services provided was the first step. Hospice doesn’t mean it is a final step but the opportunity to provide care and increase the quality of life for the patient. Little did we know that sis would need the services so soon after our first visit with Debbie. She was given meds that for the first time took away her anxiety and severe pain. Debbie listened and offered support not only to my sister but to her husband and the entire family. She answered immediately our phone calls and was here the entire day assisting us in my sisters ascension. We can’t thank Debbie enough!
