Loved vacation to this Dutch style town, it was very tourist friendly and the food was good here. Parking was free and easy to find. My girlfriend and I love collecting pressed pennies and there are quite a few here, we found 5 machines in total. You can spend a good day here eating lunch and walking around the stores, then grabbing ice cream, and of course visiting the giant windmill. Of course for adults there's wine tasting which we did not do but many around. At the end of a perfect afternoon, swing by ostrichland driving through what feels like the countryside with tall trees on either side and spend $5 to enter and $1 to feed ostriches.

This is a nice stop if you are traveling between Northern & southern California. There are plenty of small restaurants, wine shops and gift shops in the small Danish town. The town itself is quite picturesque.

What a BEAUTIFUL town!! I lived in Germany for 6 years and this is the closest I've seen to anything like it in the United States! The center of town is definitely for tourists which I'm basically a tourist at heart, but even the outskirts in a little bit of walking that I could do was beautiful! I would definitely go back there again

Solvang is a very nice town. I was there many years ago and obviously it is changed quite a bit . But it is still very nice just much more modern than I remember.
