Somers Point City Clerk's Office

I am very angry. I called two weeks ago and was told that they were putting it in the mail the next day. As of today they still have it and stated it will be in tomorrows mail. When I asked why has it taken so long if they told me they were putting it in the mail she said it was because they have one employee out. You should not have told me you were putting it in the mail. My son can not be registered for school until I receive it. So I guess I'll see once again by next week if I have my child's birth certificate. You would think they would be up front. I work in a school servicing center handling a lot of information. I understand when one person is out it can be hard but we still send out mail because we know people have deadlines and it is not their fault you have an employee out. Point Blank Period Shelby should not have told me she was putting it in the mail. I have been calling her for a week straight with no return phone call. She is obviously not on top of her job.
