I had always wanted to dress up as a Flapper for Halloween (or any day, really!). Who doesn’t love the 20’s? My daughter wanted to be a bumble bee/ honey bee. We were able to get both costumes from Sophia’s. Very nice quality and the staff is VERY friendly and helpful here. Their selection was huge. If I hadn’t already known what I was looking for- I’d have spent an entire day here browsing!!

When I'm looking for an unusual, one-of-a-kind gift that demonstrates how much I care, I know I can count on Sophia's.  Her taste is impeccable!   Her ever-changing inventory makes the shop a fun destination no matter what the season -- but Halloween is really something special.  The best costumes are at Sophia's.  Definitely one of my fave shopping spots!  (And now I can buy online.)

We went to Sophia’s for the first time this last Halloween (2014). I loved my flapper costume so much I wanted to go back and get another costume for the upcoming Holiday costume party. A very unorthodox get together my job planned on since we had success at Halloween. I love this costume just as much and can’t wait to rent it closer to the party date!

I love this store, the selection of costumes and accessories can't be beat.  The help is friendly and helpful, and you can get everything you need in one place.  I have been shoppinng here for years, and each year they seem to have more unusual costumes to choose from.  I like that I can buy or rent, and in any price range.  It is quite the store, if you haven't been there, you have got to go!!!

Sophia's is the best custom shop I have ever used. They were helpful, courteous and have a selection of theatrical grade clothing and accessories that is truly unbelievable. Modern, retro and antique and everything in between. They are not cheap, but the quality and selection is truly amazing.  We needed 19th Century garb for a costume ball in the Catskills. Check out the photo below and especially the stunning redhead in the blue gown.
