Southern Porch

The atmosphere in this restaurant is very comfortable and full of Southern charm. There are many delicious and unique dishes on the menu. We tried an appetizer called "Halos" - avocado stuffed onion -and it was delicious! The service was outstanding and Kristen was our waitress. The food I would rate average to excellent depending on what you order. I know their pot roast and shrimp and grits are excellent but we had salmon and it was just okay. Definitely give this place a try!

The service was ok. I had the Shrimp and Grits. On the menu it is described as having crab sauce. The "crab" is the fake crab you can buy in the grocery store and it was very slimy. I would advise against ordering the Shrimp and Grits. My husband had the Pot Roast. He said that it was good, but no potatoes.

Great place to eat. Their burgers are awesome. It does take a while to get your food but anything good is worth waiting for.

Pot Roast had carrots, onions and celery - no potatoes! Pimento Mac & Cheese had no flavor. Shrimp and Grits had fake crab meat in it. Service was Great - Food, not so much.

It was so so today. Had fish and chips with collards. First time excellent...today not so good. Staff is more concerned talking to friends than serving customers.
