Southwest Gas Corporation

Incompetent at best: after assuring me the gas was already on at this property I checked and a big SW Gas lock was on the line preventing the gas from being turned on. Called and scheduled gas to be turned on, received the email confirming gas was turned on and...the lock is still there and gas isn't turned on but I owe them $80 for first month's gas usage. Complete waste of time and money!

I don't know how this company is still in business. They are the worst. Worst than cable companies!! They have the worst customer service. Tried to turn on my gas for my new house and they are telling me no one can come out for 5 days!! So I should go shower and do laundry at their office then. How do you treat people this way and get away with it. I wish I don't have to deal with them EVER!

What a complete Joke. This company is the worst. I have no idea why they don't hire and or train more competent employees. I received a bill for a late payment when I haven't made a late payment in probably 5 years. These people did not explain the deposit and told me it could or would be waived now two months later I'm getting a notice saying it wasn't paid. It's now taken care of but the customer service is non existent. I hope somehow this company goes under.

I called Southwest Gas to have a shut off valve repaired in my backyard. I was on hold waiting for someone to pick up, then she couldn't find my account after many attempts using my address and verifying 3 times and she finally asked for my name it came right up. Once I told her want my issue was, she then stated that I needed to talk to another department and that I would be placed on hold again, then I had to go through all the verifying with the new person. She had the worst attitude a person can have in customer service, she sounded annoyed with me, I asked a few questions and she had snarky responses. If there was another Gas company in AZ, I would've switched.
