Hard to believe such good food can be affordable. Vegan! Seitan hot wings! Curly fries. Pizza! So delicious. Return again and again and try something new each time. You won't be disappointed. The area has another establishment which offers vegan wings that I used to think were everything. I'm glad they are there as a back up option. Just goes to show there is so much room in Pittsburgh for vegan wings.

Great pizza but the service is incredibly slow and seating is EXTREMELY limited. Also doesn't deliver AFAIK. Cheaper options are around too with quicker service and just about as good pizza. Order when it's a slow night and you'll be happier.

Great Pizza, sandwich, local comfort food type of affair with vegetarian/vegan options. I've liked everything I've had here, enough to come back and order the same thing again. There begins my only complaint; the day where it was great made me come back, the day it wasn't made me second guess that. You can have a great concept and menu, but consistency is key. One day I had the vegetarian cheese steak and it was great, another it was thrown together, another time I had a pickup order and received a regular meat one by mistake and had to drive back. If it was more consistent, they would easily earn a 5 star rating.

I had a large mushroom and veggie sausage pizza. As a vegetarian for the last 20 years or so I have not had sausage on my pizza since I was a kid. Wow, it was very good. The mushroom was fresh and the veggie sausage had just the right consistency and spice level. Overall, one of the better pizzas that I have had in quite some time. Prices at Spak are on the higher end (thus the reason for only four stars).

First - This place is highly recommended, and apparently makes delicious pizza. I talked to people who love their food, including even the pizza my son-in-law bought last night.
But he ordered that pizza because they say they have vegan pizza available. I'm not vegan, but I do have a milk allergy, so I almost never get pizza I didn't make at home. I was excited.
But when my son-in-law talked to them to be sure, he learned that the vegan pizza goes through the same conveyor-belt-style oven as the cheese pizza, so cross-contamination is almost certain. I couldn't try the pizza we'd been talking about all day.
They can have a star for being well-enough informed, and honest enough, that I had a disappointing meal rather than a trip to the emergency room or worse. I'll definitely give them credit for that.
And I'll back up whatever rave reviews they have from people who love their food; the people I was with love it, too. If you're not concerned with trace amounts of unintended dairy, please try them - I hear you'll be very happy.
But there's something wrong with calling your product vegan when you know that animal products are contaminating your vegan recipe.
