SPENCER CONCRETE

Because of the high reviews, I decided to call Spencer Concrete for an estimate on concrete work. I had to leave a message. No answer so I tried calling again a couple days later and had to leave message. No answer. Both times I left my phone number and email address. Finally several days later I received an email. In order for him to give me a bid, I was asked to send information on the work I wanted done. I also had to send dimensions of area I wanted cemented. That presented me a problem since I’m a widow who’s still recovering from hip surgery. I responded to the email with a description of the projects and that I would try to get someone to help with the dimensions. No response to this email. Driveway and garage floor I figured I could do roughly by walking and using my steps for footage. But the patios? I needed professional advice on what kind of material, shape of patio, solving problem of present patios sinking toward the house, etc. I needed someone to come out. No response. I emailed that I no longer wanted a bid and explained why. I stated that I thought it was very rude in not calling me back especially with two phone calls. No response. Spencer made me feel like an insignificant person not worthy of his time of day. If the company’s policy is not to come out to do an estimate, at least he could called and let me know; if the company charges for an estimate as some do, at least he could call and let me know; if a company is too busy because of recent weather events, at least he could’ve called to let me know; if Spencer had any respect or regard for me he would’ve called. My rating, not one star, but 0.

Very disappointed to say the least. We had patio that had to be removed quickly because of other work that had to be done. I called around and came across Spencer's concrete. Spencer himself said they could get the job done and his crew was there the next day. I paid in full the day of (which was a mistake) I came home later that day and the job was done, I was greatful that they did it so quickly. While I was inspecting the work I noticed that they cracked a piece of the driveway which was very noticeable. I took pictures and sent them to Spencer he said that it wasn't done on purpose and said they would cut the corner off and nothing more. He said he was doing us a favor by just doing that. I think that if you hire a company to do something they should stand behind what they did. He did not. Ironic in life that we had the patio removed because it was old and cracked they come over and crack a good piece of concrete. Work ethic isn't what it use to be. Would not recommend.

Spencer Concrete just finished a stamped patio for us, we love it. Spencer and his crew were very professional and kept us informed all along the way. We highly recommend them for all your concrete needs.

Spencer is a great guy to hire for snow removal and concrete. He is very professional, caring, and gets the job done. His crew works hard for the satisfaction of his customers.

Does an outstanding job with plowing snow, and checking up on his clients. Everyone is very perfesonal, and work hard to get the job done, even if that means no sleep for over 24 hours.
