They took us very long to check our bags , because of their understaffed “automatic” checkin counter in Las Vegas airport. None of the people could get their bags checked in as the system was malfunctioning. There was one lady available for help, who didn’t know who to help first and then just jumped from to another without really helping to then finally send everyone into a new queue to checkin where two persons were sitting. The two staff members there had been witnessing all the mess but wouldn’t lift themselves to come and help on the automatic counters. They looked even annoyed for the fact they had to do their job and checkin people manually. Amazing failure of their automatic counters. Please go and see how eg Vueling in Europe have designed their counters, they work flawless. I still give 2 stars as the flight departed on time and arrived on time, as well because they fly Airbus.
I flew on a flight today from Orlando Florida to Las Vegas. Very good service from the flight attendants. There is no food at all, just a plastic package of cheese and the worst coffee I have ever had in my life. It's a shame that an airline doesn't have it. good foods
Shout-out to Lani for awesome customer service! The CEO & HQ needs more people like her, smiles, helpful and creates value to the customers flying. Quality reps like this I'll fly again and again! I was impressed with this airline this time around, clean inside and engines were quiet too. Good pilots!
Horrible customer service. They cancelled our flight and only give a partial refund. Just plain theft. I got a good deal on the flight but it was not worth it. Absolutely miserable. When we boarded our first flight early on the AM, the plane had bend sitting all night. After we all boarded. We wait for an hour or two and then they told us they had to change the tires so we had to deplane. They could have gone through their checklist … oh I don’t know, before we boarded? Also, when they cancelled our return flight they were no help. They didn’t even tell me that all the airports around me were closed.
Spirit Airlines Flight Memphis to SLC was canceled. Spirit Airlines told me I would need to cancel all of my plans the next day, miss work, leave the airport, uber to a hotel, pay for a room, pay for dinner, pay for breakfast, pay for lunch, pay for another uber to the airport, and catch another flight out the following afternoon as this was not an option I had to purchase a ticket on Delta for 603.00 to get home. Spirit Airlines offered me a compensation of 83.00. To this day, I have never actually flown on SAL, and with absolute certainty, I NEVER will!!
Absolute nightmare. Going from Las Vegas to Indianapolis and the flight was canceled for a mechanical error. I wasn't mad about that. We're told not to worry about it, the airport will provide a hotel and transportation. What I'm mad about is after waiting 2 hours in line for this to happen, we were told because the flights were rescheduled, that the attendants were done and we would have to wait another THREE HOURS for the front desk to open, or submit a refund request. My new flight wasn't for another FULL DAY, AND I was rerouted to NEW JERSEY?? Which lost me another TWELVE HOURS. Then i get to the gate the next day, not only is it delayed, THERE IS A FLIGHT DIRECTLY TO INDIANAPOLIS BOARDING??? So i asked the attendants "If there's no shows I want the empty seat" and they inform me SO SORRY. THE MANIFEST IS PRINTED WELL REWRITE THE MANIFEST SO I CAN GO HOME. YOU HAVE WASTED 2 DAYS OF MY LIMITED TIME. This was not a natural disaster! You guys just suck! And now I'm gonna be out $500 for a return ticket be NO IM NOT RETURNING WITH YOU
0/10 to the gate staff. I've flown with Spirit multiple times, they've never wrong me before. Suddenly, I can't go into the plane heading home unless I fit my medium size shopping bag into my backpack, which was close to bursting by that point. It was impossible. My backpack fit under their seat with the shopping bag standing upright when I got in. But they still charged because even though I had one personal item the backpack, they counted the shopping bag as a personal item too. $79 stolen from me at the gate and customer service won't listen to my grievances. I tried two different agents and they wouldn't help me. Never flying with them again. Their low fares are a lie and their carry on fees are a hard slap in the face.
Girl at the boarding gate for 10:13 PM flight on 09/05/24 has clearly never been house trained. Zero manners and looks like she has no will to live. She gave clipped responses and was passive aggressiveness for no reason whatsoever. If you’re going to provide a subpar services experience, at least try to compensate that with decent customer service.
Our flight was cancelled for "weather" yet none of the other airlines were delayed or canceled for the same destination. It was a cheap excuse to back policy against customer complaints. I waited on hold for customer service for 60+ min to be told to file a complaint on their website. If I could convince 10 people a day to not fly spirit airlines it wouldn't be enough. No one likes delays/cancelations but they happen. The service was just awful and effortless.
My family and I had flights from Miami to Las Vegas, with Spirit. That flight was great, early, pleasant and pretty quiet. At our layover in Las Vegas, it was a nightmare! The airport was a disgusting mess!!! It was absolutely trashed. Food all over floors. Did not once see someone come to clean! Our flight was supposed to depart at 9:30 p.m. It was delayed until 11:30 p.m. We didn't get to board plane until 1:00 A.M!! Once we were boarded and seated with belts, we get a message from flight attendant that our pilot was pulled away for another flight and that we would have to wait for a new pilot!! Once we got a new pilot we waited another 30 - 40 minutes before taking off!!! Spirit - DO BETTER YOUR COMPANY'S FAILING!!!
