Spitz - Sugarhouse

Fantastic Mediterranean food. It's in somewhat of a fast food setting where you wait in line, order your food, they hand you a table number, and will bring your food to you in baskets. Great atmosphere and beautiful outdoor seating area next to the creek and trail. The street fries are my favorite but the doner's (wraps) are great as well.

Ignore their posts about happy hour; its a bait&switch lie. (Oh, you must mean the Other Location...) Full price on watered-down drinks and over-priced food thats OK at best. I've always been curious about what a wrap would taste like if one aged the bread for a year; Tastes like the recycled paper it was wrapped in. Hey, but the reggae music they play brings the visit up to a 1.6 out of 5.

Food is amazing. The menu small but no matter what, you'll get something fantastic! Their bathroom is awesome ha. The best little collection of records. The back wall is painted and they have a chalkboard wall which is totally cool. They have outdoor seating which is awesome. You just leave everything on the table like a normal restaurant but you do order at the counter. They have a nice little bar. Craft beers on tap. They have a sweet little drink menu with seasonal specials. They even have games for you to play while you're there. A few decks of cards too.

The food isn't amazing, but it is unique food. The atmosphere was excellent. Well decorated, well lit, and a great place to sit and talk after the meal. They even have card games at every table, and other board games you could bring over to your table if you'd like.

We loved the food. We've been back a couple of times already. I got used to Kebabs in France and these reminded me of them. Good spiciness and the white sauce was just perfect!
