Spring Mill Apartments

I have a 3BR, 2BA apartment and I am extremely content with the maintenance and peacefulness of the area. Great value for the place, and the apartments have washer and dryer in them. With all the TV's, computers, and phones we have, our electric bill is extremely reasonable. It has never gone above $80 even in the winter. Water is paid for, Sewer/Trash is paid for. We had one noisy neighbor in the 2 years we've been here but when I say "noisy" it was footsteps. And really, that goes with any first floor apartment so I didnt let it effect my review. Love it here!

Spring Mills Apartments does not nor never has had a tenant named Crystal Payne. She claims a sex offender lives in the building next to her. I just personally checked the Registered Sex Offender list, and no one is registered anywhere near this apartment community. A criminal background check is done on every applicant before they become a tenant at Spring Mills. In addition, if there are any maintenance issues, please contact me personally at 304/274-5158 and all property maintenance issues are promptly addressed.

The apartment was brand new when i moved in. The outside lights always off when i would come home late at night from work which made it unsafe. The maintenance people were pervs. I had the day off one day which was a day that maintenance were suppose to come and look at the water heater which was by the front door and two men came into my bedroom while i was in bed napping. Luckly my boyfriend was there and they left the apartment before we could get clothes on and get out of bed. I called and told the office lady and she just brushed it off like it wasnt important. There is absolutely no reason they needed to come in my room or open my bedroom door. There was a nest of birds in the ceiling and the birds must have died and when i called to tell them there was a smell and i think they were dead my response was, " well there is nothing that we can do about it." I couldn't turn on the air vent because it made it was worse. when i left some cranberry juice was on the floor and a bleach stain. the landlord didn't say anything about replacing the carpet she just said to clean it. i cleaned it and she still replaced it and took my entire deposit $650 and charged me several hundred on top of it. When i tried to make payments she took my payments but failed to tell me she sent me to a debt collector and never told them that I had been making payments. This place is crooked. Now the debt collector Valley Credit services is charging me 18% interest a day they say and now the debt is double what it originally was. which i found out is illegal to charge me more then what I was originally charged.

I seriously can't stand these apartments and will be glad when my lease is up! Not only did I learn that there is a sex offender in the building next to mine AFTER I moved in. every time I have a problem it's days before it's resolved.
