The best ice cream I've had in Philly. It's definitely overpriced and the lines are usually long but it's worth it. I like how it comes in a Chinese takeout box. My go-to is vanilla and butter pecan ice cream with brownies and chocolate fudge. Delicious!
I use to love Franklin fountain. Very expensive and line extremely long was worth it. My last few visit was horrible, they gave me more whipped cream than I asked for. They filled the bottom and top of the pint with whipped cream and too much fudge and very little ice cream. Use to love them, now I’m heart broken!!!!
Do you like to spend a lot of money for ice cream that is pretty good? You found the right place here! $40 bucks got me and my three kids to have an ice creamy treat. Can't believe it was a twenty minute wait!
Long line, but worth the wait. Some of the best of cream in the city owned & operated by Franklin Fountain on Market St.
There was a long line wrapping the place on Labor Day weekend. We ordered butter pecanwas not crazy about it, hydrox cookiewas great and honeycombpretty different. They were served in Chinese take out containers. The staff is great and the scoop was large.
This is a great little seasonal annex to the original Franklin Fountain at Market and Front. Lots of flavors available, and they're all delicious. This place is open when the Spruce Street Garden Park opens in the summer. The ice cream isn't the cheapest three cones will run you nearly $15, but it is definitely worth it!
This place is pricy for no reason. My daughter and I got in line to get her this cone she's been raving about, and turn out receiving a broken sugar cone with the ice falling off. My husband seen this cone and rushed it back immediately. How can anyone eat an double scoop ice cream cone broken....smh
Located in Penn’s Landing, this is a great place to get ice cream while walking around the area! There are lots of good flavors, and even though it comes at a price, it’s worth every single bite!
