Stumbled upon this place and it turned out to be the best dining experience I’ve had in Philly. The owner is genuine and makes you feel like part of the family. Also, their food is amazing. THE PIE WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!
Ice cream sundaes were amazing. The ice cream itself was some of the best in the city. Then we had kettle corn which was done just right, not too much coating. Best part of it all was the service. The owner and her daughters were super friendly and clearly cared about their shop and the customers. We will definitely be back.
Not only is it good ice cream as a cheaper alternative to the Franklin Fountain, but the array of items that are available on the grill in a milkshake and as a baked treat are all very delicious. The people who work there are very friendly, and definitely embody a family-owned business. Great addition to the Old City neighborhood!
Amazing ice cream, had the brownie Sunday and it was amazing. Owners are amazing and extremely nice.
This is one of the best ice cream places in Philly! Not only is the ice cream delicious, but they have some great baked items like their chocolate chip muffins. The owner is very nice and knows us now cause of how often we went. Great place to sit and enjoy. I plan on going back soon!
Nice addition to the neighborhood. I know Franklin Fountain is just a couple blocks away, but I they drive me crazy with their Chinese take-out box containers and paper straws for their shakes. They strive so much for the classic feel that they have crossed the line and became just plain inconvenient. Anyway....I enjoyed this place. Ordered a milkshake and the staff gave us some kettle corn for free. Both were tasty and hit the spot on a hot summer's day. They are planning on adding burgers and hot dogs to the menu, as well. It opens late, too, so a good place to grab coffee or dessert. I'll definitely be back for more!
Good food. Family own business. Everyone very friendly and treats you like its there home. It's always a pleasure going to the store. Best homemade oatmeal raisin cookies. All the food I have had is good. Very reasonably priced!!Happy this business opened in Old City.
Live across the street from this wonderful establishment. Could not have asked for a better shop to occupy the 3rd & Church corner. Kudos to the staff and owners - Fezziwig's is a gem and we recommend it to everyone when we get a chance! They are also more economical than the other overpriced ice cream shops in the neighborhood, plus they have grill offerings. All around awesome.
My husband and I were visiting Philly last month and were craving ice cream. A local resident recommended Fezziwig's and we were so glad he did! The ice cream was incredible, much better than going to a boring chain restaurant. Friendly service, too! We plan to stop by the next time we visit Philly.
I went by this morning to get the awesome breakfast sandwich and the fezziwig’s sign was gone and there was a closed sign on the door. Looks like nothing is inside at all. Burger and chicken fingers were okay but the service is what put this at a 5 star rating. The staff is always friendly and willing to give you a sample of something or help you out. Nice spot for some sweets as well!
