This theater has some of the most creative play productions that I’ve seen. The theater space is audience on four sides with the show taking place in the middle. It’s a unique experience that is hard to find elsewhere. A lot of the plays here have come over from hit theater performances that started in the UK.
What a wonderful venue. Located in downtown Brooklyn, under the Brooklyn bridge this theater is a hidden gem. We saw monsoon wedding here and it’s a close up theater in the round. They sell well priced drinks and snacks. My only complaint is a kinda weird unisex confusing bathroom set up. Besides I would definitely return to this area. Lots of close by restaurants.
Beautiful theater right near Brooklyn Bridge few steps from Juliana pizza. Watched Monsoon Wedding here and had a blast.
I have never been inside, but the outside view is simply stunning. Whenever I do photoshoots in Dumbo, this spot is one of my must-capture locations. Brick walls and Brooklyn bridge are just a great backdrop combo
Not a bad seat in the house! We can’t wait to return for another outstanding show!
I got a nice experience here. All area are clean and comfortable. Not so far from the station. All staff is nice and always smile. Good river view.
What a great venue - staff is welcoming and informative. Monsoon Wedding is what brought me to this venue for the first time and it was delightful!
Absolutely loved the entire experience at St. Ann’s Warehouse. An amazing production - timely and unusual. Comfortable, interesting space. Easy access to the area with plenty of great restaurants to choose from.
Watched the Jungle here in February 2023. What an experience! The show was so unique, the playhouse itself charming, and the time out market next door was a nice little pre-show treat. I was with a friend who saw wuthering heights and said the playhouse was transformed for each show in entirely unique ways. Seems like this place hosts smaller productions in a good way, thoughtfully curated shows vs big box productions. Anytime I'm back in the city will definitely look up whats playing here again.
I literally can’t wait to go back again and again and again. Not only is St Ann’s Warehouse a beautiful historic building, it always amazes me what they will do next with the space for each production that comes to town. The photos on this review are of the Jungle which is one of the most powerful plays I have ever seen. This should be shown to everyone everywhere to educate us all and open our eyes..... I have been to see music and plays in this space and St Ann’s never fails to a wonderful venue. Thank you and I can’t wait to see what’s next.....
