St. Charles Towne Center

Not the mall I grew up with but still a mall. Get there early and join the morning walkers... not to be confused with the walk dead... just a large mass of people that treat the mall like there own personal track I. Which they do several laps. Probably the best thing about the mall these days is the climate controlled exercise track ;). Plus many stores, some unique ones too. Who wants to go shopping?

This mall use to be awesome! But as the county has changed so did the mall. Many of the decent stores and restaurants are gone. It’s really a shame that it’s changed so much. I won’t go there when it’s dark out due to the increased crime activity in Waldorf.

This mall is NOT conducive to the class of people moving into the area. There is a different social and economic class of people moving into 600k and 700k homes in the Waldorf/White Plains area. Yet, this mall mimics a class of people that has minimal resources and buying power. Restaurants and stores cater to that of the 1980s Waldorf. There are no upgrades. Random urban stores open and close within 1 year time. Stores like Gussini, Body something or another, and many more like it are not adequate choices for the working class. To me and my colleagues and peers, it is a total waste of mall space!

Worse thing that came to the area, be careful in dark parking lots during shopping season. I know of two people personally jumped n robbed here and have read about others. Not cleanest place either but its the location and the people.

There were alot of great shops like charming Charlie's, hot topic, cotton on, Sears, JCP, Macy's. The customer service is great especially in Macy's. I have been going to this mall for years and plan on continuing to go.
