St Cloud Hospital Recovery Plus

Program was wonderful! It teaches about the different major personality types and how and why kids respond to each other the way they do. The intensive interactive classroom learning helps kids with coping skills and ways to think differently about their situation and how to make healthier choices. There was weekly skits focused on Alcoholic families and the role each member plays, as well as, AA and NA fundamental steps taught. The psychiatrists truly cared about finding the right medications for the individual patient's mental health needs. Kids do have to do the work to make things better for themselves and the counselors are keen to those who are not putting whole hearted effort into their own recovery. The facility had a system where kids could earn special privileges and passes though to reward kids for their hard work. Weekly family sessions were manageable because staff realized parents have to work and some were traveling quite far to get there. Group sessions during family sessions was a benefit for both the parents and kids in knowing that you are not alone in what you are going through right now drawing courage and support. Great long term inpatient program for those who have had kids in facility after facility with no change/hope.

The food at the woman’s house is absolutely terrible there is no way anyone could claim that there is nutritional value to this stuff. Seems unorganized.

Excellent employees from the councelers to the cooks. Please fix the Wifi!

I was here and loved everything about this place I'd recommend it to people that have the disease of addiction

Horrible. Lectures repeat themselves. Programming so redundant, everyone sleeps. Don't consider this facility.
