St Mark's Hospital

Good experience. Staff is always willing to assist and help in anyway. One staff member when I sat in the wrong place asked if I knew where I was going. I showed her the paperwork and she got me to the correct place. I also saw this same staff member ask a lady if she needed help as she was older. The lady said she could not find her way out of the hospital. This good staff member said she would walk with her to get her car. Amazing.

The emergency department staff is amazing and very kind. They listened to all of my worries and gave me the best help. Once I was admitted to the hospital the nurses and doctors I spoke with were so kind and helpful. Anna was one of the nurses that made my stay better. She was attentive and helped with everything I needed.. dr. Hamilton was absolutely amazing. She thoroughly explained my surgery and made sure I understood everything that was going to happen. She is very knowledgeable and has good advice to offer. All around I had the best experience one could hope for being in an emergent situation like I was in. Definitely recommend this hospital.

I went to St Marks for an induction, and the entire experience was AMAZING! The labor and delivery nurses were so sweet, and kept checking on me and updating me like clock work. Then recovery was awesome! The nurses were absolutely wonderful, they were well educated, patient, and so ever sweet. They have house keeping keep the room clean, and the food services were great at giving food and removing the trays. I highly recommend st marks for delivery

9/5/22: St Mark's Hospital is the Very Best. They've been taking care of family members for years now and again today my mom. From ER to release or admitted, Best of care from staff, nurses and doctors. Only Hospital family and friends have used without ever a complaint from any of us. Cannot say that about other hospitals in the county, except U of U another great facility.

I’ve really appreciated all of the staff and amenities that I have encountered at this hospital. For my labor and delivery the nurses were so kind and Dr. Kinghorn has been the nicest doctor to go on this journey with. The postpartum room was very nice and the staff was very attentive. I have also really appreciated the pediatrics ward of this hospital. We have worked with Dr. Kramer and Dr. Owen and they are both very helpful and have made sure that I feel confident with my name baby. Thank you to everyone at this hospital. The ER staff are also very kind.

St. Mark’s Hospital. I watched my grandmother pass away in the hospital years ago. I didn’t expect to have the same level of support from the staff when I arrived in the ER. They definitely are thoroughly cleaned. The waiting room is full of magazines and vending machines. The grounds are well maintained. Fountain and water feature included in the round about parking. They have valet parking and plenty of parking for visitors. As far as the food, I was not able to get much of a sense. Definitely a good hospital.

At any entrance there are people to give a forgotten mask and direct you to where you want to be. The process was swift and friendly. I waited only minutes for my CT and then I was walked to the procedure room where it was again done so quickly I told the technician it was almost a waste of a good IV! I was walking to my car with the whole process taking less than a half hour. I’m always very happy with my care and friendly staff and service.

Needed some blood work done for an upcoming appointment. Checked in at registration. No problems. Was sent to the lab. Waited about 5 minutes or so. The technician was friendly and very professional. He put me at ease. Didn’t hurt me as he completed the procedure. He was well trained. A good experience. Got the results back in a timely manner. Thank you!

I went to St Marks for all my pregnancy related care and Labor and Delivery of my twins. Overall it was a pretty great experience. I loved my care team, all of the doctors, nurses, pediatricians, lactation consultant, etc. were amazing. I had a planned C Section and they were really on point with their timing as well as making sure my recovery was moving along well, and that my pain was as managed as they could get it. The food was meh but they did bring what I ordered and the cafeteria didn’t have bad options for my husband. Our only issue was with our celebration meal, the night we were supposed to get it we never received it but they came to try to clean up for a meal we didn’t get, we did get the nursing staff to help ensure we got it for lunch the next day. Do not order the steak though, they only serve it well done and really it’s overdone.

Excellent experience from the parking attendant, through the check-in to the mammogram itself. All were very helpful and pleasant. The mammogram experience was so much better than the last one. She was considerate and careful. Thank you! I will no longer dread this experience.
