St Petersburg Public Library

This is the noisiest library I've ever been to!! Kids screaming and crying, people loudly coughing and hacking (nice way to spread germs), people with their phones ringing, people conducting conversations in normal voice heard across the room, screeching carts. This is supposed to be a place for quiet and study! The staff needs to enforce this. They need to ask people with screaming kids to leave and tell people to take their conversations elsewhere. Noise from trucks and their back up beeps, nonstop! Who knows what that was from, as this isn't in a construction area, but it sure sounded like it! Being here gave me a headache, I would have left had I not had research to conduct. It does have a vast supply of books, the biggest of all the branches. Its clean with plenty of work spaces. But the actions of those visiting, make it a less than desirable place to spend time. Typical of people to be so disrespectful and think it's all about them and do what ever they want. People here act like their at the mall!

Is great a lot of books if they don't have the book you need you can request it and it takes like 2 day people are very nice wonderful view everything I have needed has been here great place to study too

Liked the place, nice and friendly staff and a real good collection of books for all age groups. They also have a nice movie DVDs collection.

Great customer service and selection of books, magazines, Movies, CDs, and other media. Separate space for kids and teenagers to read and play. Many classes and programs for kids and adults. Clean and modern with the view of Jorgenson Lake Park.
