Stafford House

I moved here in July and was very happy with the apartment, which exceeded my expectations. The grounds are beautiful and the apartment has an attractive interior. Ally is a great manager who will help you with anything you need. The neighborhood is also great with close proximity to highways and local food establishments. I'm very glad I chose Stafford.

Recently, I inquired interest in touring apartments as I was looking to make a move and saw photos online that I was impressed with. I requested the tour online, received confirmation from an automated service that it was requested and then personally received confirmation from the staff not once but twice. I arrived to the property to tour 15 mins prior and the door was locked. Assuming maybe they were understaffed and the staff that was there stepped out for a tour, I waited about 10 mins until I tried the door again. Still locked. At this time, I called the number and no one answered so I left a voicemail I wasn't even upset at this point asking they call me back as I had a tour scheduled but no one was there. Made sure to leave my contact info and I even then emailed the leasing office stating the same thing. To this day I never heard back and this was 2 weeks ago... I am now upset and would say the communication is lacked immensely and I would not recommend even attempting to waste the time in finding someone to talk to. Beautiful place on the outside and in a great location. Very sad I did not have the chance to even see inside the property.

Just driving by this place to and from work it is absolutely easy to tell negative reviews about this place are true. Just today I saw one of their US flags torn up very badly. Upon response to this review, I will see if the US flag has been replaced.

This place recently changed management and is now owned by Birge and Held. Ever since the transfer of ownership, there have been nothing but problems. The trash is taken out way less, so there is random trash and dog waste on the ground pretty much at any given time. There is no on site staff to assist you with your problems. They operate out of the Alexander Park leasing office and are only open 10am-5pm M-F, no weekends. Good luck ever talking with someone. Additionally, this community has the bare minimum ammenities. There is a grill and a fire pit. Cannot forget about the tiny putting green too. No pool, no business center, no gym, no staff. They also offered us a renewal price and they are trying to up the rent $206 per month, without additional fees like pet, trash, etc... If you plan on living in an apartment for an extended time more than a year I would recommend somewhere that is a better bang for your buck, and that will not try to price you out of a marginal living experience.

The thing I liked the most about Stafford house is its proximity to stores compared to where I lived earlier. I loved the plan Stafford had to offer for the two bedroom category. Megan has been of great help and has made our move-in easy. The apartment itself is great and I enjoy living here. If you are staying in the ground floor, you can hear your neighbor upstairs when he/she walks. Other than that, the place is great!

This place is so great! My boyfriend and I moved here recently, but have had nothing but positive experiences. We were very surprised to learn how quiet it is here, especially living in an apartment complex. If maintenance is needed they pretty much come right away which is also a huge plus. The property manager Ally White is AMAZING. I have never had a landlord/someone equivalent to one that I have had such a positive experience with. She seriously cares about the well-being of everyone here. We definitely got lucky having her to work with. She made the process of moving in here so smooth.

I have been a resident at Stafford House since July of 2017. During my apartment search this was one of the few places that actually returned my call and the property manager, Ally, was so patient with all of my questions. Any maintenance issues are addressed quickly, neighbors are fairly quiet, and the apartments are close to many dining and entertainment options. You are genuinely an appreciated resident. I am very pleased with my decision to rent at Stafford House!

When we decided to go back to apartment living our goal was to find a place that felt like a condo more than an apartment. After checking out 8 different complexes we visited Stafford House. Right away the floor plan was inviting and the Stafford House team members were fantastic! We moved in to our apartment in May and we love it. It’s a rather quiet complex with great amenities! The neighbors we have met are friendly! We are proud to call Stafford House our home!

Moved to Stafford House a few months ago, and love it thus far! The office manager, Megan, is great! So helpful with anything and everything I've asked! Great community and neighbors. My dogs love the dog park! The courtyard is great, love the corn hole and putting greens. Nice spacious apartments! No complaints here!

Ally White, the Community Manager, has the expertise and understanding of a truly caring, experienced and resourceful professional. Her creativity, problem-solving abilities and genuine concern for others make her a "go-to" person for any need or issue. Furthermore, her gracious and intuitive nature is evident at all times, including the three times twice in one day! I visited to tour the model, her office. She knew just what I needed and eased my concerns through kindness and informative suggestions. When presented with my apartment requirements, Ally had additional listings at related properties for me within minutes. Throughout the process, she continued to share ideas and solutions that I hadn't even considered. Aware of my need for a quick rental on a first floor, she called me several times after I didn't respond to her emails. She persevered to ensure that I wouldn't miss an opportunity to view alternative sites before they were rented by others. My tourmates and I are fully confident that she will find the best apartment and setting for us all. I have spread the word about Ally's welcoming nature, top quality managerial skills and big heart. I have also raved about the beauty of the apartment and the friendly peaceful environment of the apartment community. What a fantastic experience! We would be fortunate to enjoy such a stylish and safe residence under Ally's ever-present care.
