I travel a lot for work and one of my standards is to find a Starbucks for coffee every morning. I find that they are pretty consistent nationwide which makes things easy for me. Luckily, I found that the one down the street from my hotel is a Starbucks Reserve, so that was a bigger plus. Basically, you can have a standard coffee or you can have the higher-end reserve roasts which I definitely prefer. You can also order ahead with mobile ordering.
I’m from Washington and have been to the very first Starbucks and the Reserve many times in Seattle. Usually the Starbucks cold brew is consistent and is something that’s decent from Starbucks to Starbucks. For some reason the flavor of the cold brew that I got tasted burnt and the burnt flavor lingered for a while. I try to experience as many local coffee shops as possible during all my travels. This was a bit of a disappointment.
Great selection of reserved coffees and blends. I do wish the overall experience would have been faster, but the staff was very friendly! The drinks came out hot and we’re made exactly as we asked for them. The overall time could have been much shorter. Great decor, good selection of mugs, apparel and drinks. Would give them a second go!
It's like a specialty Starbucks cafe. If you like chemistry you will love to watch them brew your coffee from beaker like coffee pots. A whole different experience from espresso. To be honest I haven't tried it, but like I mentioned it's cool to watch. All the standard drinks everyone is used to ordering are available, too. I didn't have any food items at this location so I'm neutral on that but I gave 4 out 5 stars overall since I did have to ask them to remake my drink and atmosphere. The plus about any Starbucks and what sets them apart from other coffee chains is they will give you a new drink if it's not right with little or no questions asked. At least that's been my encounter since the 80's explosion of the chain. As far as the atmosphere there are a limited amount of chairs with cushion seats. Most of the seating is a running wall wood bench or wood stools found at the bar.
A great Starbucks Reserve with knowledgeable coffee masters as expected, located on a busy street and near many hotels. Usually not crowded, fast service, displays are eye pleasing. It's a bit smaller than the Starbucks Reserves I've been to.
Fast and friendly with plenty of space to sit and enjoy your drink. Our cashier was courteous and hilarious.
Reserve coffee was so smooth and delicious. Very busy store, but noticed that many who ordered after us were getting there things first. Suggest ordering ahead. Since it was our first time, we didn't know what to try so stood in line.Food: 5/5
As far as Starbucks go, the Reserve locations are always a nice step up. The Hazelnut Bianco Latte is reason enough to seek out this location. Also they open at 4:30, earlier than some of the other nearby places.Food: 5/5
Still open during the pandemic, no sitting down! Love the ginger spiced cold brew. Friendly staff, just right below Hyatt Centric!
Great place to have a cup of coffee. The Reserve Bar is a fantastic way to enjoy a cup of coffee, but it's good to have some spare time on your hands. It can get really busy, and the baristas do their best to get drinks out in a timely fashion.
