This place is horrible! I ordered with only two people waiting for drinks. A few people walked in after myself and ordered. Before I knew I the people who ordered after me was leaving with their drinks. I walked up to the counter and I heard the lady tell the gentlemen who was making the drinks that she forgot to write my drink down. Then I was given a small when I ordered a venti. The lady then apologies saying the guy who is making the drinks is new. I let her know no you forgot to give it to him plus this is the wrong size. She just poured it into a bigger cup and added more cream. Never apologized... horrible customer service
Starbucks never gives me what I order the first time and they are always sluggish to fix their mistakes. . The baristas are trained wrong so they don't know how to make coffee for customers that know their coffee. The customers who do love Starbucks don't love coffee, they like milk and sugar and fantasy beverages that don't exist outside of the Starbucks world. I'm almost always disappointed. Stay away from chains!!,
Received my drink and pastry just fine, and then realized they don't have free wifi, which was the real reason for my visit! Was hoping to charge up my devices and browse the web while killing time before heading from the convention center to the airport. Only two comfy chairs here -- definitely not a place to come hang out.
It is a small shop and it was packed during the Denver Women's March with only 3 people working but they were pleasant and efficient. There was a constant stream of customers for hours but the staff kept them moving along at a steady pace. Kudos to them for staying cool in what must have been a stressful time.
Coffee was decent but staff wasn't professional. Service was very poor. Barista was more interested in flirting and actually chased some customers away, despite offering them free food. Totally awkward. We couldn't get outta there fast enough.
It's a 50/50 chance of whether they will actually give you the correct drink or not. Only order a cold brew coffee and half the time they'll give me an iced coffee don't see what's so hard about pouring the correct kind of coffee in a cup. I would recommend walking the extra distance to literally any of the other multitude of coffee shops nearby
I am generally not a big fan of Starbucks because they make it so hard to avoid sugar. Almond milk, soy milk, all are sugared versions. It would be much better if they used no-sugar added versions for lighteners and then let customers add sugar to taste. However, the customer service at this particular Starbucks, is nothing short of amazing. The drinks were delivered super quickly, the baristas knew the local customers--and drinks--by name, and the staff kept busy. During downtime someone was cleaning lamp shades! The person who is managing this location is doing something right.
I visited from New York for a convention. Bought a coffee, but I realized that only half and half was displayed at the bar. I asked if I can have a bit of whole milk. I was charged an extra 50 cents for that 1 oz. of milk. I have never experienced something like this at a Starbucks before.
How hard is it to put Pike Place coffee in a Starbucks refillable mug? Had to stop the barista from putting pumps of something?. Then she filled the cup up past the lid threads. I didn't know thinking was SO hard. The place was very clean, at least.
