State 48 Brewery

Loved it! We actually celebrated our wedding anniversary there. Enjoyed the lettuce wraps appetizer, they were delicious!! I had a yummy Moscow Mule while my husband enjoyed a couple of different craft beers. Then we ordered the white pizza with artichoke, tomato and spinach on their gluten free crust!! It was divine!! The service was great, our server was very attentive and she even gave us a complimentary ice cream with bourbon caramel on it! We will definitely go back again!!!

My husband and I went this past Monday night and was incredibly surprised. We met the new GM who was very friendly, knowledgeable and wanted to make sure our experience for the first time was relaxing and an experience we would want to repeat. John the new bartender manager made the BEST DIRTY MARTINI I ever had! Yes a cocktail at a brewery. My husband had a dark stout beer that was smooth as silk! We had a white pizza from their own brick oven with prosciutto and cauliflower wings with several sauces which were outstanding! The GM said this Saturday the 31st have a brand new cocktail list coming out. I left there thinking gosh did not even know this place existed! And will we be back...YES YES AND YES‼️ 5 stars to GM, John and the Chef. 😋

My band and I came here after playing the beer fest put on by the owner. Even as busy as it was, we were able to get a seat within maybe 15 minutes. For a table of 8 the food came out quickly. The drink menu is nice, and the food is great. Everything that was brought out was made well and with with quality ingredients. Burgers cooked to order were maybe half a shade more than what was asked for, but this is more than excusable considering the heavy load the kitchen must have been under. I have to say that the heated outdoor seating was particularly nice considering the weather at the time was chilly. Great atmosphere. If I'm ever in surprise, I'm sure to return.

Wow amazing beer selection. New favorite spot in surprise for a great sandwich and beer. Literally any kind of beer you can think of they have. Really cool 360 bar with half inside and half outside. Large patio with cornhole game to hangout with friends. They also have my favorite appetizer pretzels and beer cheese.

First time customer, won't be going back. Waited a while to be seated and once seated waited to be served. Unfortunately missed happy hour due to the wait. I felt they should have honored the happy hour price, but the waitress refused to budge. Good selection of microbrews, food was okay, waited a while for food too, was told the kitchen was backed up (only had appetizer type food) BUT the service was poor. Waitress lacked people skills and seemed bothered by the time we took to make a decision on beer and food selection. We ended up getting 10% off the bill, but would have preferred better service.
