WASTE OF MONEY, IF YOU LIVE IN SOUTHERN OREGON... I GUESS IT IS MUCH EASIER IN THE STATE OF PORTLAND. Paid you $50.00, Mediator ruled in my favor, but have to travel 3+ TIMES 150 MILES RT just to file in small claims. Only the STATE OF PORTLAND gets help, not us old people in SOUTHERN OREGON. Don't waste your time unless you are in SALEM OR PORTLAND. You lose SOUTHERN COAST! Did the mediator have a good time visiting ? NO ENFORCEMENT WHATSOEVER... WHY IS THERE A BOARD IN THE 1ST PLACE? JUST TO TAKE TAX AND ANY DIME YOU HAVE... make sure you read all one ☆'s, so TRUE!

Total waste of time and money. The mediator separated us after 30 seconds. He was anoyed talking to me. He was laughing and had a great conversation with the construction company that screwed up my roof. The Ccb paper work hurt my case. It would of been better for me to sue and then go to the CCB to get money from there bond.

After 8 years of working with the CCB, I didn't have a single complaint until now. They have always been helpful and informative any time I have called in, but I recently spoke with "Maggie" in the enforcement office. Maggie spoke to me in a degrading fashion, antagonized me, was extremely rude and ultimately just unprofessional. She reminds me of those kind of back-alley collections company people that call around businesses seeing if they have any accounts to collect on. You can't tell if you're being yelled at, antagonized or if they want your business. CCB - I don't know where you got this woman "Maggie" or what her previous work history is, but you can do better. You have a lot of really nice, helpful and understanding people in your operation, you don't need a sour apple like this one.

SO helpful both on the phone and in-person. Very understanding. Can speak on any level to a variety of expertise related fields. Very, very happy with the service I've received.

Poor response on the phone. The lady that answered the phone simply answered with a "hello," in a non-enthusiastic voice. I had to ask to be sure that I had called the right number, and then had to ask her her name.
I recently had a chip seal job done on my driveway, that fell apart within the first year, the contractor tried to patch, and now it is still falling apart elsewhere, as well as in the patch areas. I paid a lot of money for a job that should have lasted at least 10 years or likely better. IMHO, the CCB is worthless to file a complaint against a contractor, because oftentimes, the defective work or product is not discovered until after a year, as in my case. But that's their time limit. I'm trying to work with the contractor, but it's not going well. The lady at CCB was quite curt and not helpful. She suggested that I take the case to small claims court, even after I told her the dollar amount in question. Bad information, the dollar amount involved is more than the small claims limit. Now what recourse do I have? The CCB should be there to protect the public, not bad product.
