Great place to eat! Always friendly staff and the sandwiches are awesome! The bread is homemade and delicious! I get the Vandal club and a cup of soup! It has never disappointed! Would highly recommend any sandwich!

I have been here on 5 different occasions. At least 3 out of the five times I’ve been they’re either out of soup or the special “hoagie” several of their sandwiches should be made with! (And this is a soup & Sandwich place!) Furthermore on my last trip in there for a nice lunch with my husband they were out of the hoagie bread AGAIN...I simply and NICELY said seems like this is something maybe that could be addressed? And then politely turned to leave. I am blind in one eye and on my way out the door caught my toe on the threshold (didn't fall on my face) Thank God! lol But one of the employees, actually laughed at me! Inefficient management AND RUDE! I can do better.

Best Sandwich place in town and excellent service. Highly recommended to anyone that enjoys homemade sandwiches.

I have ordered 3 different sandwiches from stax and all but one was incredible. 1. The holiday on sourdough. Huge THICK turkey sandwich with cranberry cream cheese. I wish the turkey was cut a bit thicker but overall an excellent sand which that I order again and again. 2. The gobbler on sourdough. One, they have the best sourdough bread I have ever eaten in my life. I wont order a sandwich on anything else. Lots of delicious high quality delicious ham with swiss. Again, a huge sandwich! 3. The crab on white bread. This is hands down one of the worst sandwiches I have ever eaten in my life. A very thin layer of flavorless tiny minced crab. The texture is just awful and unappetizing. I hated it, my husband hated it and I know several others who have had it that hated it as well. It was my first experience at Stax and honestly was so bad it took me months to try it again. I'm giving 4 stars because I have ordered time and time again since the crab incident and have never been disappointed. They earned my business back ten fold. If you have a small stomach I suggest getting the half sandwich which is actually bigger than a normal sandwich. I always order the full because I save half for the next day, its just too much to eat at once no matter how much you want to.

Really good, well-crafted homemade bread. Generous stacks of deli meats and cheeses. Great menu with both hot and cold classics like a Reuben and Philly and amazing originals like the Vandal Club, or build your own. Selection of soups and salads as well as fountain drinks, coffee, and cocoa. Kids menu for the young or the young at heart. Gets crowded quick at lunch for a reason. Friendly service and reasonable prices. My favorite sandwich shop. Absolutely recommended!!
