Even Stevens Sandwiches

I had the beet chicken salad. Next time I think I will get it without the chicken, as it was just sandwich meat plopped in there. The salad would be amazing if it just had a touch of acid. The greens/ingredients were so fresh/good but it just needs a bit of bite. I enjoyed the experience and will return.

Wonderful, charming service and delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed the Cubano sandwich and salad. It was a delicious little salad. Lovely sidewalk bistro right next to Freak Alley in downtown Boise

The Do Gouda sandwich was fantastic - amazing flavor. The beer cheese and pretzel bread was also amazing. The tots were less amazing, but still decent. Tried a local beer - "blood orange rustler" from Payette brewing company... Loved it!

Had heard really good things about this place. Quite disappointed! I ordered the Reuben at the recommendation of the cashier. I LOVE a good Reuben and eat them all the time. Imagine my surprise when half of the meat portion on my sandwich was pure (not marbled!) FAT. Gross to take a bite of nothing but fat (see attached picture). When I mentioned it to my waitress she told me all corned beef has fat in it. Yes... but not like this. Very unhappy with food quality and service!

Even Stevens has great good, a fun atmosphere, and friendly staff. I love that they have games and little seating nooks, which makes it a fun place to hang out. Their patio is a nice place to sit in the summer. You get a great urban feel as you can admire the Freak Alley art while enjoying your meal.
