Awesome sandwiches with an Idaho twist. Huge menu selection and fair prices. A true local place with great values. I highly recommended making a visit. Great location for lunch and after seeing what downtown Boise is all about. Great services friendly people and all around Boise atmosphere. Definitely making another trip and many more. 5 stars

Out of all my travels for business or pleasure, Deli George is hands-down the best sandwich place in the entire western United States, including WA, OR, CA, ID, UT, CO, MT. Hole-in-the-wall deli where the locals eat, and yes, the sign is upside-down on purpose. I recommend the Boise Cheesesteak sandwich. A local favourite.

Never even ordered! I walked in, no one else in line, asked for a Ruben. The gal rudely pointed at the phone and said she needed to call a customer then yelled for someone else to come take my order. Dude shows up, looks at the hipster that walked in after me and the other two gentlemen with me, who said I have a phone order. Dude looks at me and said can you wait until I help him. I turn to my friends and said Carls JR it is. I guess the one order that walked in after three is more important than the three. Money ahead I think. Moral of this story VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
