My experience here today was very nice. I had found a hat online that I really would have loved to have had. Lo and behold, out of the blue, I found one just like it today at Stein Mart, and it was in my favorite color, green! I also got a very soft fake fur and sweater type rap. I really like the place.

I love Stein Mart, so much so that I opened a line of credit.  I don't live near one of their locations but I really wish there was one in the Chicago area.  The prices are great and everything is top quality.  I order items online but it's nothing like being there.

Employees are super friendly and helpful and the store is clean and organized. I do, however have a complaints with the company. Whoever is the buyer for the plus sized women's clothing should be fired! They look like something an old lady would wear. Bigger women shouldn't be forced to wear matronly clothing. It's honestly insulting. Everytime I go in here with my family I walk out empty handed while they find great stuff because y'all's plus sized section is tiny and ugly!!! Also, you have no big and tall section for men at all! Stein Mart has beautiful clothing. I just wish y'all were more inclusive so everyone could enjoy it.

I am new to the area of Marietta where this store is located and I was excited to know that I lived really close to stein mart.  I visited the store for some carry-on luggage for an upcoming European trip and to my surprise my daughter and I were followed around the store by the employees.  My daughter was on another side of the store and came to find me to tell me what was happening and that she wanted to leave. The sad thing is that we both noticed that we were being followed simultaneously but on separate sides of the store.  Therefore my daughter's claim confirmed to me that I was too being followed by the employees.  I then went to the register in a very professional manner, with the luggage and handed it to the cashier and told her I was going to purchase it but I'm being followed and they should be embarrassed.  She wasn't surprised all she said was "sorry".  That encounter ruined my night.  It shifted my mood because honestly I would expect that behavior from a mom and pop store not a store that is as established as stein mart.  I am sure that they can afford to pay for a loss prevention team and/ or security cameras but to subject their employees to that type of task is tacky and low budget.  My daughter and I were racially profiled or profiled in some type of way where the employees of stein mart didn't feel like we looked like the demographic of those who are capable of entering their establishment without stealing.  I work in public service and I work in a legal capacity so I was immediately offended.  I reached out to the home office via stein mart's website and no one ever responded.  I can't say that I'm surprised.  Please do yourself a favor and at least look like you can afford department store prices when you enter this stein mart or else you will be profiled.

Great employees  and products, Love this store and location. Everyone  is so helpful and  polite. I  never  shopped here before  moving to this area, now I go frequently. Also has unique items, great gifts, designer items and incredible  and trendy store brands.

The store was so organized, the prices were great and the staff was super nice! This was my first time, I found several things I bought and I will definitely be coming back!

Always clean and well organized. Very courteous and helpful staff. Quality of the merchandise always excellent. Great shopping experience!

Sales people are nice. But most stuff is overpriced. And I don't think there's anything to draw people in for Christmas shopping? No decorating...just blah

Good quality cloths. They have a lot clearence prices. One of the employees told they closing the store.

It's become my primary source for name brand golf shirts at great savings. There's savings on other casual wear too.
