Story

The Sterling Studio was established June 2, 1992. It has moved a few times and evolved but has always been in downtown Dayton. It is now a micro studio/shop packed full of Original and Retail Sterling Silver Jewelry, rocks and incense.

It is one of the few to offer sterling silver jewelry repair. To get a cost estimate for a repair work, bring the item in to be seen. The Sterling Studio cannot quote what it cannot see or inspect. Some quotes may take a few days. For custom design quotes, you must bring in a 'To Scale" finished drawing or visual of exactly what you want. If you do not have a finished "To Scale" drawing, there is a design fee, which varies per job, before you can receive a quote. Please know that The Sterling Studio will NOT copy another Artist's or Manufacturer's design.

Sterling Studio is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 11:00AM until 6:00PM, Saturday 10:00AM until 5:00PM. Special Sunday and Monday hours in December and/or during Special events and/or by appointment.

If you are looking for something specific but cannot come in, you can call and leave your inquiry and contact information at the tone or FB message or email The Sterling Studio, after an inventory search, you will receive a response as soon as possible. Vague and/or incomplete messages will be considered solicitation and will not receive a response

The Sterling Studio is on the 'Do Not Call' list and requests a "DO NOT SOLICIT" status. So unless you are a potential or existing customer corresponding about purchasing Sterling Studio products or services, please show respect for privacy and time and keep solicitations off this FB page, this phone and out of this studio. This includes those looking for donations. The Sterling Studio makes it a point NOT to do that to you and would very much appreciate the same respect in return .

The Sterling Studio does NOT buy used jewelry or scrap.

Debit or Credit cards are NOT accepted. Long standing customers MAY write checks at the discretion of the Sterling Studio. There are several ATM's within walking distance.

The Sterling Studio also has Fair Trade sources for metals and conflict free stones available.

The Sterling Studio has recycled every bit of trash that could be recycled since the day it opened. The gift wrap has always been
re-usable or recycled, (except the ribbon lately, sorry about that).

If you have a jar of the silver cleaner that you bought from the Sterling Studio, you can get your old jar refilled as long - as the the original labels are intact - for 1$ less than the current price of a new jar to encourage more recycling or more importantly, reducing.
