Steve's Classic Burgers

On a road trip and googled best burger only to find this place just 1 exit north of I-20. They marinate their meat over night and only cook it once the order is placed. We loved our burgers! Very fresh, tender and tasty. Crinkle fries were hot. Also liked the condiment center where you can add whatever you want: fresh sliced tomatoes, beautiful crisp iceberg lettuce, sliced onions and tasty pickles. Everything was very clean including restrooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. It’s worth a stop if you’re in the area.

When you read reviews just know that it is impossible to please people 100% Even with best efforts there will always be that person here or there that just is unhappy. I have read some really dumb reviews on here nit picking price, saying the burgers weren't seasoned, overwhelming Christian theming, etc. It is all bullcrap!! I ALWAYS CALLS 'EM LIKE I SEES 'EM!! 1. The burgers are super fresh, the man starts cooking them after your order. They are well seasoned, in fact a bit much for me, but it's a taste thing. Everybodys different! The crinkle fries are store bought but executed perfectly. Hot and crispy on the outside, just like most people like. 2. They offer a Classic burger special. You have several cheese choices. Toppings at the bar, fresh and plenty and fries. ALL FOR $8.88!! Where you gonna get a fresh third pound burger with fries and a drink for that??? Gees, people!! 3. I have attached several pics of the place. It WAS NOT overwhelmingly Christian ornamented nor was anyone pushing anything. I just saw smiling, courteous, and clean associates! The reataurant was outstanding in cleanliness and organization. There is not another place I know that is this "on the ball". Thank you Steve's for surpassing expecations and bless you guys greatly for offering a value meal like the $8.88!!!

Good food. Great atmosphere. Would give 5 stars but onion rings and fries were burnt. Went around dinner time shorts wait but burgers were fresh.

Passed by a lot of other restaurants because they are overly Christian here. Bible verses on the walls and bibles on the tables. We ordered the half pound hamburger steak which came with grilled onions and added cheese to it. Chose the baked beans as our side. There is a fixin's bar for adding toppings to your burger. Burger was nicely cooked. Enjoyed having the cheese, grilled onions, lettuce and tomato on top. Baked beans were tasty but sweet.

Nice family friendly mom and pop operation, with delicious burgers. Clean, spacious dining room. The topping bar is nice touch with a limited selection of fresh DIY garnishes, kind of like Fuddruckers used to do. Dipped ice cream and sweets in a connected walk through. A Bible on every table is an unexpected twist but nobody tried to proselytize so okay, whatevs.

We come here every time we are in town for my kids doctors appointments around the corner. Delicious food. Love their burgers and melt in your mouth onion rings. The homemade milkshakes next door are delicious and my daughter loves their brownies. The atmosphere is wonderful christian facility. The type of small business place id rather give my money to than a big chain fast food restaurant. They have christian music playing and bibles on every table. They have a big chalkboard for prayer requests and a little prayer request box as well.

Great food , decent pricing , Wonderful Coustomer Service. Very Clean the Owners are always there and they are Very Kind. I personally think they make the Best tasting Burgers and Onion Rings. That's my Favorite they also have a Ice Cream Store and Make Very Good Coffee .

Second time the I came to this place. First time I was impressed with the Christian atmosphere but it wasn't overbearing. Love the chalk board to add prayer request and bible on some tables. Burger was hot and fresh both times and like the toppings bar to pick my own toppings. Today when I went in, I notices a small sign on the door that stated that lawful concealed carry was welcomed, as a CWP holder that was very much appreciated. Service was great as well, cashier even made a point to say "thanks for coming have a great day" as I was leaving. Overall great food, service, and atmosphere!

The fact that this is a local business that is blessed everyday with the owner's presence and hard work is more of a statement as to why the food is sooo delicious... So many ways to get a juicy, perfectly cooked burger. My girlfriend ordered the sliders and they were perfectly portioned and not over cooked. The topping bar is fresh with tasty tomatoes, onions and pickles just to name a few.... Respect to the fine folks that own this gem of a place to dine. Do not miss out on ice cream or coffee without even having to leave the building at Snow's Ice cream and Coffee, which by the way is Steve's wife's business... They employ local youths and have a great thing going.... Even with the Clemson stadium photo on the wall.

Obviously this is not a fine dining establishment. But the burgers, fries, and apple pies are tasty. If you don't like how your burger was garnished you can blame either yourself or your family member or friend who garnished it for you with the fresh lettuce, tomato, etc. Haha! It's not as fast as the fastest fast food places, but it's not far off. And the food quality is significantly better.
