Steven Ginn Architects

I hired Steven Ginn Architects to design my new home. After two years, I am now having to file against him in court for failing to meet the standard of care. Steve was over a year late in delivering a bid set of plans. Once he did; he put the project quickly out to bid and billed me the balance of our contract. The project came in at over twice the budget. Many of the contractors contacted me directly to inquire as to the inconsistency in the plans. Steve simply patch worked the plans into place. When I inquired with him as to what we were going to do now, he simply replied that he had done all he could do and that is why he had insurance. In addition to the failed plans, I have also incurred considerable expenses omitted by Steven Ginn.

This firm has done two large, complicated remodeling projects for us to our delight and complete satisfaction. The first was a Master Bedroom addition/remodel including much of the furniture and design details. They designed to our taste and it is such a pleasure to be in the room. The second project was a new large kitchen, laundry and office. The project is both functional and beautiful. Mr. Ginn received an AIA award for the project. We found the entire firm and their workers to be courteous, accommodating, easy to work with and efficient. We were completely pleased with the creativity, their communication with us and the end results. We look forward to working with the Steven Ginn Architectural firm again soon.
