Tune up and winterized my 25’ Larson. No surprises as they provided estimates and detail of work performed. I will continue on having them service my boat.

Dont rely upon them to guide you for preventive maintenance or for winter storage service Took my boat to them in october 2015 for winterization; they provide an a la carte style for service items...you need to know what you as the non-mechanic customer want. I paid for winterization. Next spring on first start-up, alarm sounds and engine over-heats due to bad water pump. when asked, service manager states that they (Marine Services) "recommends" replacing water pump every 3 years, and offers a spring start up for free if winterization was done previous fall. My receipt and paperwork does not indicate either recommendation, and neither were verbally communicated to me in october 2015. Costs due to over-heat repair were over 1100$, when water pump replacement would have been 200-300$ if they had mentioned that. Also, if communicated about spring start up, they would have caught the alarm in the shop before over-heating and could have fixed it. End of the day, when i asked them to take accountability for not recommending to me about inspecting water pump and no indication of free spring start up, they refused to take any responsibility for the costs...another 800$ that could have been avoided be careful and do your homework before trusting them to service your boat
