Came here for some drinks but I wished I came here for dinner instead. This place was immaculate and a pleasant environment to shelter from the cold. I loved the drinks I ordered, i got a old fashion and a passion fruit rum drink. The service was amazing and wonderfully all around. Would definitely come back here and definitely recommend to anyone around to come here.
Do yourself a favor and head to Stoneacre Brasserie immediately! Enjoy the beautiful restaurant with warm, classy ambiance and kind, caring staff. My sister and I tried the prix fixe menu and every single course was spectacular! I have never been so happy at a restaurant or with any meal. Stoneacre Brasserie, I look forward to seeing you again!
I am not sure what to say, I have very mixed feelings about my visit to Stoneacre Brasserie on Saturday night. What was good? The food! The food was quite delicious: the miso kale caesar, the fried cauliflower, and the ribeye with cheesy smashed potatoes were awesome. Also the wine list is actually quite strong with a number of values and also a small number of baller bottles if you want to splash out. What was bad? The service was miserable. I mean that both literally all of the servers looked like they wanted to kill themselves, and our particular waitress more or less directly stated that we should hurry up and figure out what we want to order because she was really busy but also figuratively they have decent wines but no decent glasses to drink them out of, only narrow, cheap, stemless wine glasses like the kind you have for an outdoor family bbq, also I think they exactly one decanter in the restaurant and exactly one person who knows what a decanter is. In my book, poor service is inexcusable so are stemless wine glasses but I recognized that might more of a personal thing so I won’t return but maybe you will have better luck than me?
Had a very nice meal and would definitely go back. Portion sizes were great - not sure what the issue was from other reviews? Could easily make a meal with 2 starters. First, had a tasty amouse bouche and bread brought to the table. Service was quick and friendly. Great ambiance. Delicious food. Beet salad was excellent, as were the roast chicken with peas, fiddleheads, celeriac and fennel and pork roulade. Great balance of flavours, nicely executed dishes. A very enjoyable evening out. Prices were reasonable. Nice wine list.
Just WOW! Some of the best service Newport has seen, and I’m not even going to start with how good the dishes were. A little bit on the expensive side, but the quality and the presentation were extraordinary.
Pretty solid French restaurant in Newport. Portions were rather small but that was fine! Loved their drink menu and wish I ordered something off it. Staff was very attentive.
Went here for the first time the other day and I had a fantastic time. From the moment you walk in you get a luxurious rustic feel. This place is very Newport. The service is fantastic and the food is just as good. I went for brunch and the menu was fantastic. Not to mention the cappuccino martini this was a 10/10 they use their house made Bailey’s and it was so good. Definitely slightly pricey but remember where you are and what you’re paying for!
A very nice spot to have drinks and dinner, great atmosphere inside. Staff was very friendly. Food we ordered was quick as it wasn't so crowded for Monday. I felt the food is pricey for the portions but it is a nicer upscale a 'pub' place. I came from NY and my first time in RI so may be that way at each place. We left satisfied with the choice.
The best brunch in Newport. Homemade hash was incredible, eggs were cooked to perfection and the quiche was awesome. Everything we had was excellent, came back multiple times. Can’t say enough about the quality of food and service.
I had the breakfast sandwich on Bolo bread. My Sister had the Seasonal vegetable hash, fresh herbs and poached eggs. The food was good. But the cocktails were GREAT! We were told after we ordered that we must try the biscuits when we come back
