Strand Theatre Corporation-Shreveport

I had an absolutely wonderful experience here, everyone was extremely helpful. It's a 4 hour drive from where I live and I couldn't find my tickets the day of the event. The manager, Jennifer, was key in helping me resolve the issue so we could still attend. While there, everyone was kind and professional. It would be worth the 4 hour drive to attend any event here.

As a shining gem of the Shreveport area the Strand Theatre offers great cultural enrichment opportunities. From acrobats to ballet this establishment never disappoints me. This is building was brought into existence in the early 1920's and as a consequence leg room is quite limited so take this into account when you come (do not expect hassle free egress to the facilities). Despite the size limitations the theatre is beautifully adorned with chandeliers and murals that dazzle the eye, and the acoustics of the building ensure that everybody can appreciate the sounds offered from the stage.

Took 5 yr old grand daughter to see Daniel Tiger. She loved it. The building is an historic work of art. Awesome staff. Something for everyone.

Really enjoyed the concert. But the seating is horrible. The chairs are so close that if your over 5'4" your knees will be literally crushed by the seat in front of you.

Who could not enjoy such a marvelous theater that opened in 1925 with a price tag of 1 million dollars. If you have not been here you are missing something special.
