Strang Park

Great park with lots of wide open space. The park has a lot of features for a variety of activities. There is a well maintained tennis court (actually two courts) with a nice high fence around it. There are two half court basketball courts in the park. The playground has lot of slides and is large enough to keep any kid busy for a while. There are only two swings though, one is for infants and the other for older kids. The park features four historical makers telling the history of the surrounding area. There is even a small section of train tracks in the park near the historical markers. The park is right behind the Johnson County Central library, which is another great place to spend some time. There are a few restaurants close by if you need food.

1/8 mile track. Few good Pine trees for pull-ups, even some lower hanging branches for body-pulls. Large open grass area, good for bare foot grass sprints.

Our neighborhood park. Great place for birthday parties and get togethers. Has quite a few Pokestops. Recomended
