Street Roots

I’m visiting Portland for the first time from Utah and I met street roots vendor Bryant King. I know his name because he informed me that the poem “The Great Smoking Mirror” on page 14 was his contribution to the Feb 16-22 edition. I get back to the hotel and turn right to page 14 and here’s what I read The Great Smoking Mirror reflects the lesson of leaving the myth behind. I am what I decide I am. Remove smoke screen that hides my natural talents of worth, and stand tall. I was very impressed and moved by your words. Thank you Bryant and thanks street roots.

Support street vendors. Get to talk to them I bye my papers from Jean super nice worn on 6th and salmon. Total clean total sober. I have her a 20.00 one day and followers her. She went got a water from store. Went show store. Went and got food for her another homeless person. I was shocked. She total clean and sober never drank or used. They lost their home due mold. Buy a paper she talk to u.

Great place for people who actually need help. Unfortunately the process for weeding out the self-entitled lazy I'm just going to grab any free thing Within Reach generation does not exist.
