I went here last year when the tipping system first rolled out. At this particular visit, I didn’t leave a tip and the person behind the counter was visibly upset. He asked what he did wrong. Because of this, I avoided this branch until yesterday. The person who helped me leaned over and stared at the credit card machine to see what I would press during checkout. Because I was uncomfortable, I tipped $2.00. She scoffed, ripped the receipt off the machine, crumbled it up, and threw it out. The employees are mad when you don’t tip and even angrier if you don’t tip enough. Considering it cost me $16 for a sandwich, I’ll just be going to a deli from now on. They don’t hound me for tips, their quality is better, and they don’t make me feel like a walking wallet
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THIS SUBWAY IS UNSANITARY. NASTY STAFF doesnt follow covid protocol, serves disgusting food. By far the worst subway sandwich ive ever had. This place needs to be shut down. Management just replied an automated “sorry” when i requested a refund. If you dont believe me take a look at the raw bacon they gave me too
The cashier had the audacity to lie to my face and dare to charge me 28 dollars for a single sandwich which was nearly 15 dollars overpriced. When confronted, she proceeded to spew more lies before finally fixing my bill. You should be ashamed of yourself for treating customers in such a manner. Beware of fraud like this at this location.
This place ABSOLUTELY IS TERRIBLE. Called about my order I placed online and the girl wouldn’t let me talk to her manager. Kept saying she was the only one in her store and that I couldn’t come pick up my order
I'm not sure if this is limited to this location, but an Uber eats alarm type system has been enacted that in my opinion is extremely obnoxious for both the customers and employees. If at any point an Uber eats order comes in, the register starts blaring with the classic alarm clock sound until the employee walks over and prints the order. I get they want the employee to recognize an order has come in, but there has to be a better way to do it..
There's one employee that takes absolutely forever to get my order done. There were a couple of people ahead of me and I'm not joking when I say I was waiting for a half an hour. Does it really take that long to make some sandwiches?
Quite annoying experience. Ordered online and sent my son to pick it up. They wouldn’t give it to him because he didn’t have my ID with him ??? He had the order number and my name, why exactly would they need an ID is unclear. Then they had him wait until making the sandwiches although it was all paid in advance online.Takeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
My first time buying food at this location. The restaurant was very clean, the food fresh and delicious, and the staff very helpful too. When I had an issue using a promo from the app, the server was super nice and quickly took care of me. Good location.
As a business traveler and hungry out of towner looking for familiar comfort food and a place to rest, I was so glad I stumbled across the Subway at 43-16 Ditmars. The restaurant was cozy and clean and the staff was so very friendly. The sandwich was awesome; but what I mostly remember is the friendliness of the staff. Kudos to Subway for hiring awesome people. As a frequent business traveler I will definitely be returning to this location. Just be aware this is in a tiny shopping center with limited parking, and during busy times just be prepared you may have to sit in line and wait for a parking space to open up. But it was worth it.
Do not come to this location. They don’t participate in coupons and offers that other locations do.
