My first gay bar experience, and it was pretty underwhelming. Went to see the latest Drag Race episode. Drinks were fairly cheap and the crowd was genuinely enthusiastic about Drag Race, but the atmosphere wasn't as collegial or communitarian as I'd expect. Leave it to the Upper West Side gays...

Super-comfortable gay space near Columbia. We really have fun with the drag shows, and we nearly always meet new friends there. And the bartenders are always helpful and quick. One caveat: avoid the beers on tap; they've been off-tasting and flat every time we've been there.

Nice place with good cheap drinks. Had a lot of fun at Monday night kareoke. The kareoke masteress of ceremonies and bartenders were nice. Highly recommend.
