Pretty typical GOOD pub food; I see a lot of reviews on here that are more negative, but honestly our food was all hot, flavorful, and quick. No real complaints--although I will comment that we were told the pizza oven was not operational--which really could ruin someone's dinner if that's what they were wanting. We had a Groupon which really made our dinner a great value, but even at the regular prices, it's a place we could easily revisit.
I ignored the bad reviews and took a chance. Don't make my mistake. It started when we walked in and went down hill from there. The menu is very limited and a bit pricy. I had hopes this meant they focus on doing a few things right. I opted for the fried chicken the wife got the Salmon. When placing the order this was 1 of only 4 times the server would stop by. When the good arrived it looked great! However the salmon was flavorless. If the Brussel sprouts didn't have a naturally strong flavor the food would of been tasteless. Zero seasoning. The chicken was slapped on top of some mashed potatoes, along side some half steamed whole carrots all covered in gravy. Again no flavor extremely bland. Then two bites in, dangerously cold and undercooked chicken. The server was told and she seemed concerned taking the chicken away . Twenty minutes later she returned with our bill, no discount no apologies no mention of the raw food served. Then she wanted to write down my credit card number because her card reader was dead. I insisted she wasn't doing that so she hand keyed it in in front of us. The restaurant side of this business has got to be one of the worst experiences I've had. I don't give 1 star reviews lightly.
Great place to meet up with friends. Good food and friendly service. They also have an outdoor patio to eat, have drinks and listen to music.
Awesome staff. I recommend the pickled onion rings. Burger was delicious. My drink was never empty.
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our dinner here! It had a nice atmosphere, great margherita pizza and pretzel bites.
My husband and I had date night last night for burger week here. We got one of each of the special burger on the menu they were amazing. Our service was great Marissa greeted promptly with a smile, she also convinced us to get the hot Cheeto fries which were also great. She made the time to talk to us about beer and other questions despite being busy which we really appreciated. We will definitely be back.
The food here is creative and delicious, but with a definite southern bent. The shrimp, house pickles, and pork belly sliders were all fantastic, as was our waitress. Unfortunately, she was the only waitress that seemed to be doing anything, with at least two others sort of just wandering around. It took about 15 minutes or so for anyone to acknowledge we were there when there were only 6 or 7 tables seated in the entire place. I'm chalking it up to it still being relatively new. If they can get their service issues sorted out it would be five stars from me for sure.
My friend and I went here just to hang out. They were changing their drink menu, so the bar manager gave us drinks to try and they were really good! I got the “Beach Please” drink, which I highly recommend. Drink prices weren’t bad at all. Food prices were a little higher than your average restaurant, but still not bad. And the food was really, really good and definitely worth it. I also recommend trying the fried pickles. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The space was clean and ambience was good. I’d highly recommend this place for a unique and wonderful experience!!
I see a trend of people blasting places for slow service during burger week. Everyone knows you have to anticipate this. Go during off hours and this place will not let you down. Staff was courteous and friendly, and the burger was amazing. I did not care much for the fried pickles I had for an appetizer, though. But again, the burger, and the onion rings were excellent.
I had the fried chicken and it was delicious. The portion was more than enough. My kids had the pizza and my husband the burger and they all said their food was good. The menu was a little small but if they do that so they can focus on being good at the food they do make, then it's working.
