Sunbelt Rentals

People there are very friendly and helpful. And they have a bunch of stuff there. Noy sure if the prices are comparable with other rental places since this is the first of its kind that I've been to.

Almost 2 months after taking the forklift cert, they still haven’t sent my card or any temporary proof like they said they would multiple times. I have literally contacted the instructor and the store over a dozen times and it is either ignored or every week I am told it will be mailed but they keep forgetting.

Avoid! Highly unprofessional and disorganized. Two failed attempts to rent from this store during the past 4 weeks. I have rented from them twice in the past and had no problems. I had a confirmed reservation that was not honored. Mistakes happen, but they added insult to injury very being very rude and insulting. Save yourself some aggravation and go elsewhere.

Be aware -- I was charged $675 for an extra rental day after calling to tell them the skidsteer was ready for pickup. The staff didn't explain that I must call during the day while I was still using the equipment to say it is ready for pickup the following day. I called at 8am the morning after my rental to tell them it was ready for pickup. The person on the phone said they would come get it, but failed to mention anything about being charged an extra day. When I say an additional $675 charge on my credit card, I called to find out that they charged me another full day when I had called at 8am to tell them to pick it up. I would feel different if someone had told me I must call during my rental day to say I am finished with the equipment. When I called to ask about the extra charge, the person on the phone got very defensive and wouldn't even listen to me. I understand that it was my mistake, but they were totally closed off to even discussing working with me on this. They need to train their staff to explain the pickup process, and also need to train their front desk staff not to be rude to customers. My experience with Sunbelt was great up until the end. Great equipment. But I now feel like I was taken advantage of.

While there were a couple exceptions, this location was mostly filled rude, condescending, and unnecessarily nasty staff. Gave us the wrong fuel tank, insisted we rent a trailer because it was necessary news flash: it wasn’t, and upon returning the item, gave us a bunch of lip about not wanting to help remove it from the vehicle. If it weren’t a speciality machine not available elsewhere, we would have never considered giving them our business after the initial phone call. I will never come back to this establishment under any circumstances, and I will tell everyone I know to avoid them at all costs. You should be ashamed of yourselves: there are millions of people without jobs and your staff can’t even have the common courtesy to treat their customers with respect. Let someone who really wants to work be there.

Do not ever rent from this place worst service ever. We had one bad experience and tried to give them a second chance and that was horrible. We reserved a machine almost 30 hours in advance and was told all was on hold. We arrive to find that they rented us a broken trailer and the machine just went out to someone else by mistake. We arrived at 7 am when they opened. No excuses. We are the little guy, they dont take care of the small companies at all! We always rent from Northside tool rental and this time the job was close by to Sunbelt.

First off I rented a chipper for 24 hours on Friday. They delivered. I called them when I was done on Saturday. They said they would send someone out to pick it up, today is Tuesday morning and the Machine is still sitting in my driveway. I called every day and they said someone will be out to pick it up. it's unprotected and I have to make sure to keep it safe. I had to park another vehicle in front of it so no one would come and steal it. so when they finally do send someone out, it will be an inconvenience because I will have to leave work to move the vehicle so they can get the machine. this is not good customer service. it is like they want someone to come and take it to charge me. I'm not having a pleasant time with this company.

The kennesaw location is horrible all of their equipment is run down and ragged and the guys inside the office have zero customer service. I would recommend Cowin equipment or Yancey Cat which is right around the corner and their equipment is far superior

Went to their operation and safety class. Very educational and didactic. Great instructor

DO NOT EVER rent from this company!!! Go somewhere else! I have never had to leave a bad review for anyone or any company. Save money, stress, and your time do not do business with them!
