Sunday In Saigon

My dad and I were tourists in DC for the week and happened to be craving Vietnamese food. We stumbled upon this place on a search and, because it stayed open kinda late, we tried it out. We were not disappointed at all! Our food was amazing, tasted great and prepared quickly. On top of that, our waitress Vanessa was so accommodating and welcoming, allowing us to ask questions about the menu and treated us with such kindness and respect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I want to update my review and hopefully can update it again. I was very upset when I wrote the first review because I could not believe I was about to spend 16 bucks on a soup I was not happy with, but every store has it days. Not only did the manager take his time to come apologize he made me feel important which now in days is what we live for in our retail experience. I am going to give this place another chance because I believe by the way i was treated today that this place can live up to the reviews I have read. So even though my soup was unacceptable in my opinion today doesn't mean this is the usual of what goes on here, and by the way i was treated after I have my honest opinion to the waiter I know this place deserves another chance!!

I love coming here, the food is sooooooo good. The Owner is super sweet. I am close with his family, and there were very helpful. I found it very useful that I called and they helped me find out where to go to park, at Trader Joes for free for 90 mins. I love it !!!!! I cant wait to come back next time!!!

The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The recommended food was good. Good location and atmosphere.

This place gets three stars from me because the food was good. Definitely not authentic Vietnamese though. 100% do not come here if that is what you are expecting. hence the three stars. The food is amazing though and will not disappoint you at all if you are not looking for actual Vietnamese food. It was just extremely unsatisfying for me because I went expecting a real authentic meal for the high prices they advertise.
