Doi Moi

Excellent Thai fusion on 14th Street. The cocktails are great. The whole fish is a great dish for a group, and other dishes (like the papaya salad, buns, and duck salad) are also fantastic. Really hard to go wrong. A great place for anyone, but especially good for parties with dietary restrictions due to the wide variety of good food available.

Loved Doi Moi! Had a wonderful experience and such delicious food! I am one of those gross soap tasting cilantro people but really wanted the jackfruit curry - the cilantro was cooked into the curry, but the waitress was super wonderful and accommodating and brought me a small dish of it to try (also, it was fine-amazingly delicious- for you other cilantro haters out there). The curry was AMAZING and the okra is so delicious (and they will make it mild instead of super hot if you ask). My fiancé got the beef “jerky” and said it was a super fun and delicious dish. The staff was super great, friendly, helpful, and attentive. Drinks were wonderful too. To finish off we got the mango sticky rice and wow it was good!!!

Excellent service and delicious food. Some of the best Thai food I've had in the area. Things are on the spicy side as they should authentically be. We had the papaya salad (excellent) and the branzino which was prepared to perfection - crisp on the outside and melting off the bone. The staff is very attentive and excellent at providing recommendations and helping you find what appeals to you. The atmosphere is very nice and well suited for a dinner for two or a larger group.

I realize this restaurant has been around for over a year, but I did not want to fight the initial rush of customers. Also, a better test of any restaurant its ability to maintain quality over the longer term. Doi Moi meets this criteria. Must try the octopus salad. Very pleasantly surprised by offering of the Charm City mead! The restaurant is very spacious open space. However there are a few cozy booths worth reserving.

Over-rated. Service is forgettable. Menu tries too hard to be edgy and failing. The taste profile is unidimensional, hence, over-priced.
