Sunset Bagels

Good neighborhood bagel shop. Friendly staff but not very quick. The bagel's are pretty good, not the best, there are better in the neighborhood if you're willing to walk a bit, but not so bad that you'd be standing outside trying to decide if you really want a bagel. They're better than OK but not as good as OMG.

Stopped in before a long drive and placed a decent sized order. They have delicious bagels and the sandwiches we ordered had fresh delicious ingredients on them. Their macaroni salad is so so good. They have rice pudding and flan for purchase, and they were very delicious as well. The place is clean and the employee at the counter was very nice. The only issue is finding a spot to park to be able to go inside. There are busses turning on the corner, and if you park on the corner, they can't get by, so please don't do that. It creates a nightmare with street traffic.

Let me tell you something!! This place food is disgusting, I gave it 3 chances!! And every time they prove to me that they can’t cook. I order Sunset special pancakes, home fries, sausage, simple right? No they gave me what it looked like 2 days home fries dude it was black and slimy! Pancakes cold and stale EVERYTIME! Thank god I order on door dash and got my money back!

This place is very disgusting. . I ordered something and they gave me the wrong order. The manager was so rude and non accommodating he made me re purchase another order and was very nasty to me. His workers then started yelling at me and cursing and the manager said nothing. He snatched the wrong order out my hand . I’m very disappointed because I eat here twice a week and can’t believe I experienced something like this. That manger needs to be fired immediately and retrained the proper way.

Don't waste your money here. They almost always make your sandwiches wrong especially if it's the manager. They then want to argue with you about whose fault it is. Unreal

Everyday since 2 years I take my Lunch and Dinner at Sunset Bagels and It is one of the best places in New York. The food is cooked very well and neatly. The employees are very generous and have a good presentation technique.

Food is okay but the service is absolutely terrible. If you think that they made a mistake I would think twice about bringing it up they get very angry and defensive over a bagel………..

First time going here in person as I usually order from Uber Eats. Fruit is always fresh as are the sandwiches. Desserts are fresh too. Haven't had an issue with anything else I've tried such as the soup and croissants. In my experience, they take pride in the quality and freshness of their food. Totally worth the walk. It was super clean and there was a nice energy inside. The woman at the register was pleasant as well. I went on Fri 04/08 2022 around 1:55pm.

I have been going to this place since 2018. I had such a great experience there once. I was working near by and stopped for a bagel one morning. Some kind man paid for my bagel and coffee. I am not sure why he did but it was an extremely sweet gesture. I liked their bagels a lot but it’s currently 2022 and I think the quality has significantly reduced. The last time I drove by before I walked in, I saw they had a B rating. I walked off quickly and have not come back. The place is not very clean or tidy looking anymore. Bring old staff/management back!

Went in today just to order something while waiting for a doctor’s appointment. I was NOT disappointed. Friendly staff. Very clean, neat and organized. Bagels were delicious. Salads were fresh. Coffee was great and I’m very picky about my coffee. I will be back.
