Two separate charter trips with middle schoolers, 4 buses broken down.  Kids missed main trip events.  

It is unsafe to sit in a broken down bus on the side of the highway.  It is unsafe to pile kids three to a row and have some standing while going down the highway.  If they can’t handle simple maintenance, what elements of safety are they scrimping on?

Do not hire these people if you want to get to your event safely and on time.

Awesome company!  I’ve taken over 30 trips & love my Sunshine!  I’ve been on trips when there were problems with the bus.  I’ve been on trips when the itinerary had to be changed;  it’s a guide & not set in stone.  I’ve been on trips with fantastic tour directors and with some OK ones, but I’ve ALWAYS had a great trip!  Sunshine bends over backwards to go above & beyond your expectations.  Things happen beyond their control sometimes, but it’s a great company that does their very best.

Would give 0.  Busses have broken down multiple times on 2 different trips in the last 2 weeks resulting in stranded, bored, hungry and late middle school children. Incredibly unsafe and untrustworthy.

The "bus drivers spouse" rule should be removed. Our bus drivers wife invited herself on out trip. Our bus driver said that the bathroom was used for "emergencies only". We respected his rule. Unfortunately, his wife abused the rule. Her having to use the bathroom every hour got very obnoxious. We we're exhausted from this trip after 10 days in Texas. Everytime we would fall asleep she's stepping on us and smacking us telling us she needs to get by and use the restroom. And addition to our frequent rest area stops and gas station stops she still managed to need the bathroom every hour in between. She highly disturbed the relaxation of us. Although, we didn't care for the wife. The bus driver was a great guy and an excellent bus driver. This trip would have been amazing without the tag along of his wife

The wife of our bus driver invited her self on our trip recently and was a  disturbance to everyone on the trip that had PAID for this trip. We stopped frequently for bathroom breaks and rest areas,  since the bus driver told us the bathroom was "for emergencies only" yet she used the bathroom every hour. We had early mornings on our trip so most of us would sleep yet this was very hard to do when she would hit us and tell us to move so she could use the bathroom while we were sleeping. She took over the front of the bus and moved people's things and sat in their seats without asking. Also she would sit past the yellow line in the front of the bus and visit the driver which it was posted at the front of the bus to not pass the line while the driver was driving because it could cause distractions. The driver was nice and a good driver and got us to where we needed to be on time yet his wife made some of the ride not enjoyable.
