Agree with the other Waterfront Review (WHICH HAS BEEN MYSTERIOUSLY REMOVED BY CENSORS)...Waterfront Director is a jerk. His way or the highway....and all he talks about is inclusion. He's full of horse _____. Only has a job because it is a state gig. 6/25/17 Just saw today that the Waterfront is hiring the 4th Assistant Waterfront Director in 5 years. Does anyone realize that maybe it is the WATERFRONT DIRECTOR THAT NEEDS TO GO? He is the reason this waterfront and sailing program are on the decline. Does not listen to students or peers at all. Gary Jobson flex some muscle and get this guy out, he is not the long term answer for sailing or waterfront development at Maritime.

I'd venture to say this is the best maritime college in the US. Relatively small student body with great student-teacher ratios, competent staff, and a generous core curriculum. The qualified and competent staff WITH THE ABILITY TO TEACH students is, by far, the most valuable aspect of four years here. Personally, this would be my recommendation for anyone thinking of a licensed maritime career.
