I'm a continuing education student and I must say that if zero stars were an option, that would be the rating. Particular staff members from the Continuing Education Department are unprofessional and irresponsible. They don't respond to my emails and so I have to go into the office for any inquiries. When I do visit the office there is rarely anyone at the front desk, and I have to wander around to find assistance, only to discover half the time that no one is around to help.
I also have been enrolled in a course for over two months and have yet to receive all of the resources that come along with the course. Given that I've paid almost 4K for the course, I expect my moneys worth. The excuse has been a lack of follow-up with other departments to obtain the resources, and in return they get upset for insisting to get what I paid for.
Furthermore, the campus/area isn't the safest. One day there was an argument between a couple right outside the building that lasted about 10 minutes and security did not do anything. I was in the classroom on the second floor and could hear the arguing clearly and the arguing was happening right by the entrance where security sits.
I don't recommend anyone going here, or at least not enroll in any Continuing Education program.
To end on the positive note, the campus is scenic and has a serene cemetery. I also think my instructor is helpful in explaining the content of the course which is unclear to me many times.

I’m a freshman at York and I’ve had nothing but luck with my professors. My classes got dropped and I didn’t realize so I was stuck with professors that I didn’t know during the evening. It was so frustrating because I was new and I knew nothing. Fortunately, I was able to have great teachers. Professor Papa, Dr. Gutikule, Dr. Rodgers and even in my second semester I have met the greatest professors. They all have their downside but they still push you to the greatest. They motivate you and make you think about what you’re aiming for. I really feel that the school is going to get a lot better. I think it’s what you make out of it.
There is always an event here, always offering snacks, emails from everywhere and the professors show you opportunities that are out there for you.
Three stars because I just began and I do not know what I’ll come up across
Pros:
great professors
Understanding
Very United
Furniture
A bunch of clubs
Programs
Cons:
New makeover to the school
More security in the area because if there’s more security students can feel much safer and not only base the College because of the area
Some members have attitude but everyone has that in every school. There’s always those people you cannot avoid.

Terrible lighting in the school makes the atmosphere feel so depressing. The students there are generally good people. The lighting is just hard to ignore so I took off two stars

Lovely campus and eadily seen from the street. The svhool is close to public transportation. The campus houses a high school and an elementary school. The grounds can use some work and some more public art installations. The cemetery is gated but plenty of history ardorns the head stones. The indoor exhibit of The Tuskegee Airmen is worth visiting the campus. The stundent art galley is the best. Ask security for accessibility for people with disabilities. Security at the gate will ask of I. D. He is very pleasant and awesome with directions. Most staff/faculty are helpful too. Better to get the assistance from the more experienced staff. They are quite knowledgeable. The good is pricey for college life, but the chicken Marsalis, peas & rice, Mac & cheese and green beans with show string cut carrots was a tasty pleasant delight. The logistics of the buildings are identified in letter quadrants to help navigate your way through the buildings. For example 1B 106 would be on the 1st floor in the "B" section. The Art department is quite amazing.

Excellent school. The quality of education is great. Some of the science classes are hard tho, but it forces you to learn. LIRR stop 3 blocks away from the main campus as well as the other busses.
