For the price, this place is decent. We stayed here for 3 nights and the location is close to everything. Close to downtown, close to the strip, and close to the arts district. The outside and hallways look rough and sometimes have a rough crowd around but the room was decent and pretty big. They had a security guard walking around at night so that was nice. If you are on a budget and aren’t picky, I’d recommend this place.
We all end up here when we're a little bit short or want to make a budget trip so you will not get an expensive service or good either. The crew tries but they're understaffed I asked about checking in at 12:30 it was maybe 25 bucks extra which I agreed to then she takes like an hour to get through the piles of people that got there before me so I just left and came back after 3:00 p.m. check in. The rooms look better than the outside because they are very new looking and clean unlike outside typical side of the highway type of layout but it is very close to the strip north side.. I guess I would do it again it was a wild adventure given its surroundings LOL. They have a deposit of $150 but make sure to check because they did not have my card saved on file in order to refund mine they did call me and everything the next day and the day off but that doesn't speak organized exactly
Remembering to read reviews. Imagine booking the hotel and then arriving then trying to push for a better room. But no instead we had to leave on the same day. The room wasn't clean when I arrived.. Then they had the nerve to keep my deposit because they most of been despaired for my money. Trust me if you are staying and pay one night and include them taking ur deposit. Best to go else where. Shocking I had to leave and losing out on 250 altogether.
The pricing is very good for someone who is not planning to stay in their room. So don't expect breakfast, or anything fancy BUT you do get a discount for close by restaurants. A couple times my key card didn't work so that was annoying. The hotel cleaner is very nice, I told her she didn't need to clean my room but she did. She's such a sweetheart. I don't like to give work to others that isn't necessary. The first night, the front staff didn't activate my key card property but other than that. I haven't had any issues. Would I come back: Yes Safety: Depends on you and your comfortability in areas that have homeless people around. To me it's fine but for someone who is from a suburban neighbourhood, I would say no. The last night I slept there, there was someone who was yelling and causing a scene. I didn't look to check but the police came quickly. They charge $10 for security but I didn't see anyone but then again. I was sleeping. Walkability: Close to the Deuce. Less than a 5 minute work
Did not like this place at all. I chose this place because I was in a budget but me and my husband just could not stay here, we only lasted one night and then we changed to a different hotel. The sheets had old stains which did not make us feel comfortable. The outside of the premises looked very old and dirty, the elevator looked pretty bad too. It was also pretty far from the strip to be on foot. We personally will not be back, sorry.
Room was ok better that i expected, only because room has an old smell that I hate Beds are small for 2 people, pillows too hard, place look ghetto and scary but is really really really quiet!!!!!! Surprised for that? Yes, me too... is really quite no problems at all and the hotel has security at night for the cars .. good location....
Had a two night reservation. Pulled in and had to swerve around the empty glass booze bottles littering the parking lot, which was followed by being verbally assaulted in the lobby by another guest. It would appear that some people are living at the motel permanently. Didn’t feel safe at all for the 5 minutes I was there and certainly wouldn’t park my bike there unattended. I wish zero stars was an option. I canceled my reservation and stayed at the Golden Nugget instead… for the same money, possibly a little less.
This is a very cheap hotel because it is run-down and old. The walls are thin, the floors are uneven, the beds are lol and the ice machine may not work. I had lovely, helpful service from the staff both on the phone and in person and found the premises to be well-patrolled by security staff. The heating in my room worked well and everything was clean so I'm content with my experience for the value but expectations should be set low. The Arts District is a cool neighborhood with several excellent restaurants and easy travel to Fremont Street. The location is a 15-ish minute drive from the center of the strip. Rooms: Cheap and basic, minimally comfortable Nearby activities: Lots of good restaurants and a local merchant arts scene Safety: Safe, but colourful.
There was no blanket on the bed. Only a sheet and sham cover over it. I had to ask for one at the desk. There’s no fridge, iron or ironing board. I had to ask for one. And there is a accommodation fee on top of the room fee. Also beware you have to pay a $125 deposit as well.
We ended up going here because of budgetary reasons. We not only were charged the $125 deposit, we were also charged an additional $85 in “additional charges” upon check-in. Their Queen bed was a Full sized bed that was so noisy that we had troubles sleeping. No microwave, no fridge, the exhaust fan for the bathroom was broken and the shower had little pressure. The AC was broken upon arrival luckily I knew how to fix it. We asked for additional pillows when we also asked for an blanket we froze our first night between the broken AC and lack of a real blanket and never got the pillows. The remote for the tv also didn’t work so we’d have to manually turn it on and off. However, the members of staff that I talked to were all nice and polite. Even the security guard when we showed up around midnight was a chill dude.
